publicastration 09-05-2007 05:26 PM
Arch Enemy is incredibly poopty.
You're incredibly shitty.

It's not being censored any more.

Daven 09-05-2007 05:27 PM

Arch Enemy is
shitty.
Riva 09-05-2007 05:31 PM

Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that Luc is running around saying the swear words aren't filtered, only to have his swear words filtered? :p

Also: Possessed - Seven Churches is still kicking my arse, after over 2 years of listening to it.

i am the robots 09-05-2007 05:36 PM
There's nothing wrong with Arch Enemy. It's poppy sure, but I don't want ultra-brutal all the time. They handle melodies far better than most.

Before it happens, don't change 'poppy' to 'poopy'. I know how this board is :p
black dahlia murder, through the eyes of the dead, dark tranquillity, autumn leaves, intestine baalism, job for a cowboy, rifles at recess, etc.

masada 09-05-2007 05:37 PM

i dont think deth asked for a list of shitty bands

i am the robots 09-05-2007 05:38 PM

he say he dont want ultra brootal and talks about melodies

i talking about bands that are bettar than arch enemy and has melodies

Deth 09-05-2007 05:57 PM

Do you need a definition of the word 'most'?

And thanks for name dropping bands I'm familiar with.

i am the robots 09-05-2007 06:11 PM

i was pointing out that theres tons of bettar shi still

moreso i was just being a dick though

pate 09-05-2007 06:22 PM
Am I the only one that finds it hilarious that Luc is running around saying the swear words aren't filtered, only to have his swear words filtered? :p
No, I too find it hilarious.

Deth 09-05-2007 06:22 PM

Fair enough. Just try to actually name bands that are in fact better.

EDIT: Fuckin' pate, to Mappy

Ehh, Where No Life Dwells is allright. It is definatly a classic, classic album, but I just honestly do not like it as much as some people here do.

Deth 09-05-2007 06:32 PM

Nope, it's definitely a classic.

masscows 09-05-2007 06:36 PM

It's not their best, but it's a classic nonetheless.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 06:39 PM

No, it's not. It's repetative and somewhat boring tbh. Severed Survival is classic. Deicide is classic. Where No Life Dwells is pretty good.

Deth 09-05-2007 06:42 PM

Please do not lecture me on what is classic and what is not. You've been into this music only months and still show a level of cluelessness usually associated with retarded children quite a bit of the time.

Where No Life Dwells is a classic regardless of whether your immature taste likes it or not.

k that's my rant for the night.

Tyler 09-05-2007 06:42 PM

hbp's lo-fi avatar ensures his knowledge.

God. I am so sick of you "older" kids telling me how long I've been into a certian style of music. I'll say it once more. My first DM album was a year and a half ago. I was 13 years old. Stfu about age because it makes you sound gay trying to validate your point with it.

So can we act like adults and not like children when someone happens to disagree with your idea on something?

Deth 09-05-2007 06:49 PM

I've even sicker of you walking into threads thinking you are the end-al-be-all of metal knowledge. This doesn't have anything to do with age.

Why do you think half of the board jokes about this crap when you post?

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 06:50 PM

Why would I care?

And if I was 20, you wouldn't be bitching about my so called "knowledge".

masscows 09-05-2007 06:52 PM

well, you really say extremely bold things that don't hold alot of ground quite often.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 06:53 PM

Oh, please, please do not get into this.

C.O.A. 09-05-2007 06:54 PM

all hail hbp!

the greatest taste in death metal on the entire board.

Deth 09-05-2007 06:54 PM

Half the board holds this opinion.

Hell, I get on at Behemoth Rules All for being an ill-informed loser and he's 23.

masscows 09-05-2007 06:55 PM

I really don't care either way, hbp's a cool kid, he's just gotta stop droppin' the knowledge so often.

I try not to do that.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 06:56 PM
all hail hbp!

See? Why do you do this? It's stupid and immature.

Anyway, shall we move on?

Does anyone think the new Akercocke is extremly, extremly good?

Deth 09-05-2007 06:58 PM

I actually like you, but hold off on statements like that.

There are albums considered classics I don't like, but I don't go around saying they don't deserve the claim because I don't like it.

C.O.A. 09-05-2007 06:59 PM

i was being serious. why would you think i was being sarcastic?

Cravinov13 09-05-2007 06:59 PM
hbp's lo-fi avatar ensures his knowledge.
You're a stupid douche who likes the smell of his own ****.

I got cha back Hbp! :thumb:

masscows 09-05-2007 07:00 PM

Yeah Akercocke owns. Very unique band.

Ok, I'm sorry. Here, let me fix it.

Eh?

Deth 09-05-2007 07:02 PM

S'all good.

Hbp, do you like Grave but not 'Where No Life Dwells'?

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:04 PM

I love Grave, I love Nihilst. I just think that WNLD is repetative. Alot of the songs sound like standard, run of the mill songs to me. I'll listen to it again. Maybe I'll change my mind.

Angmar 09-05-2007 07:05 PM

That Morbid demo really owns hbp, thanks for that.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:07 PM

Absolutly, man. That's one of the best demos I have. Did you check the Cadaver one aswell? That's my other favorite demo.

Angmar 09-05-2007 07:07 PM

Not yet, I'll get to it though.

LifeInABox 09-05-2007 07:08 PM

No hurry. It's really good though.
