They have a white Status headless at the local shop. I would've played it today but some old guy was playing with it the whole time. I played it last time though, it was alright. $350 I think.

If it is a real status for $350, go there, buy it even if you don't like it because it is worth way more than that. The washburn status ones go for around $500 US.

Slutcakes?

hahaha.

So I got my 360 back and have yet to play it. My sister has been playing DDR since about 12.

It's almost 8 now.

Akira 03-25-2007 08:45 PM

It's okay, I called him sweetie-pumpkins.

Hahaha, I probably should. Maybe I'll just run in and make a break for it.

They're repairing my acoustic now though, I'll have to wait until Friday. :(

British Kid 03-25-2007 08:54 PM

slutcakes is another awesome made-up word.

my friend made up the word cumslut and he uses it all the time. but he's a hip-hop man and a Mormon, so he can do that.

thelowsoundofbass 03-25-2007 08:54 PM

So I just paid the guy for the bass, should be here by the weekend. Which means that I wont have it until easter, can't ship stuff here, so I had to have it shipped to my parents.

You remind me of that kid in school who tries so hard to fit in, but always speaks out too late after everyone is done laughing at the first joke, and is greeted by the sound of metaphorical crickets (aka awkward silence).

One Groovin Clown 03-25-2007 09:09 PM

I actually can't stand them. This is of course just based of the way they look.

I've never actually played one before.

This.

I have no desire to play one just because of how they look.

I'd buy a Bongo sooner than I'd buy a headless bass.

I have never played one either, but I love the look. I figure that if I don't like the bass I can sell it for just as much. I think that headless basses look way better. I am giddy right now, these two weeks are going to kill me.

what kind of turntable is it? vintage or new? what are good? i'm thinking about getting a DJ style one so i can get good sound quality that can go through my current stereo setup, but will also work for sampling, as i hope to get into beatmaking soon.

Actually, it's an old song, but it's a new recording and infinitely better than the old ones.

But would they sell a set that light, or would I have to buy a six string set and not use the B and E strings?

lowsound

The Chemist 03-25-2007 10:06 PM

that would work

or bari guitar strings

funkyhoney 03-25-2007 10:08 PM

get a 6 set

BenJammin 03-25-2007 10:08 PM

Some stores sell bulk strings. If they do, you're okay.

If not, you'll have to buy a 6er pack.
