does it take you 5 hours sometimes to rip a minute dvd? how long does it usually take?
it took me 5 hours the first time then 20 ,mintues then 6 hours now it will take 11 minutes.and its almost done.

Id like to be able to rip some sections from my DVD's onto the PC.

Does the trial version do that?

I was rippin certain tracks off a music DVD. Took about 10 minutes for a 3 minute track.

EDIT: Yeah it should do Jim, it lets you select chapters

it will do a ten minute dvd for the trial. but i know certain websites that can give you the serial number and id...

oh its done its only 101 mb, im going to watch it through see if it got everything. The audio still craps out but not as long as the other one.

dammit it cuts out the extras

Ive got another program that does it BUT it rips them as DVD images which computers dont play :-/ if you can find a way to convert .vob and .ifo files to .AVI or .mpeg and mix the audio back in i can give you the link

wow this is effing retarded. last night we were partying, and i was planning on drinking again tonight, so i bought 2 night's worth. then my friend reminds me that there's a free concert in town tonight (bleed the dream, greeley estates and 3 bands i haven't heard of. better than nothing, and its free) so i sold my extra rum because he told me we were all going to it. now he calls me from work, and says that they just realized that if they came to pick me up, they'd get terrible spots at the concert, so they're going straight from work to the concert. my parents just left, so i have absolutely no way to get out there. doors open in an hour, it doesn't start for 2 hours. a 20 minute drive back for them, and a 15 minute drive to the concert, we'd get there 25 minutes before the doors open, plenty of time. but they don't want to risk it. so i got royally f'ucked over for the night.

now i have to find someone willing to boot for me, and throw in a $5 + tip, because the people that we get to boot want tips worth their while.

yup, that's my night so far.

oh, and i'm pretty hungover.

i didn't mean it by seats, i meant floor area.

and to make things worse, i was the one who told them about both the bands, i was the one who told them about the concert, and i was the one who found the free tickets.
