...no? |
Yay I finally got my RIP guitar book and I'm blown away at how hard this sh*t is on guitar.
I tried poison was the cure and I immediately stopped as part of the intro was at a tempo of: quarter notes=320 bpm. ........Just......no......:upset: I think I've got the first part of 5 Magics down but the song that I've gotten furthest on is holy wars. BTW, can someone please resend me Peace Sells. The link expired by the time I was able to get to a computer that has a burner. (which was today......:upset: ) Thanx. |

At the end of the concert he took out this customDV8 with the BTU art on it and walked around to the different sides of the stage and held it up in the air and everybody just starts screaming. It was one of the coolest ****in things ive ever seen. |

Nah he didn't do that at download but he had the custom DV8 BTU artwork. He lent his silver DV8 to Wednesday 13's guitarist. |

Looks like Dave has decided to keep on going with Megadeth. :thumb: He had me worried for a while, but I'm very happy with his decision.
This is from the Megadeth website. THIS JUST IN: "YES, MEGADETH IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO PLAY" DAVE MUSTAINE makes his announcement after a special version of "Coming Home" to the Argentinian crowd at the sold out show in Buenos Aires. "I told you earlier tonight that I was gonna let all of you know first before the rest of the world what our decision was - whether or not we were gonna continue with MEGADETH or not," MUSTAINE said before playing a special rendition of "Coming Home", with the song's lyrics changed from the original "I'm coming home to Arizona" to "I'm coming home to Argentina." Immediately after the song, MUSTAINE said "The answer is yes." MEGADETH will continue as a band. MEGADETH will record a new album. MEGADETH will continue to play. Sorry if you guys already saw this. |
I hadn't. But cool I guess. Second time Mustaine's done this... meh. Its still cool. Go back to small venues though please.
|
Awesome.
I saw them at a small venue of about 800 mathias :-P |
Sydney?
I think it's ****en awesome, but I'm wondering, is Mustaine able to write killer music still? |
Awesome.
I saw them at a small venue of about 800 mathias :-P
The place I saw them at on the BTU tour was pretty small and awesome. But Gigantour was really lame. |
Yeah, Sydney.
Hearing the new members on an album will be awesome. Then it would be like they are officially part of Megadeth :D EDIT: I saw them on BTU tour too. You would have got Exodus as support though wouldn't you? |
Yeah. Exodus would've pwnt so much more with their current singer though.
|
Yeah, you saw them with faggy steev esquiveel, and I got to see Dungeon.
:-* |
I know I'm late and all but Yay for Dave carrying on Megadeth.
|
Unless you're one of 12 lucky assholes in the pit.
I was one of those assholes. :D It was great.
I know I'm late and all but Yay for Dave carrying on Megadeth.
Make that a late yay from me too. :) |
Make that a late yay from me too. :)
And me. Yay :chug: Any plans on a new album, is he keeping the current members then? |
I think he's keeping the current members for the next albums.
|
I think he's keeping the current members for the next albums.
Yeah he is.
is Mustaine able to write killer music still?
Of course! |
Are there actually any details at all on a new album?
|
Are there actually any details at all on a new album?
I doubt it. |
So are they headlining gigantour 2?
|
So are they headlining gigantour 2?
Well Dave did invent it didn't he? I don't know if it's going to be a Megadeth/Dream Theatre thing or just Megadeth. |
Holy Wars makes me cry :(
I can't downpick that well at all and I can't alternate pick decently either :( I primarily play with fingers though so :\ (bass of course) |
I just got Rust In Peace and Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?. What albums should I get next?
|
Killing is my business......and business is good!
|

He made a post not to long ago saying he doesn't know if they'll be on the second Gigantour. He was probably just fucking with us given that no one knew if Megadeth would continue or not though. Let's hope so anyway! Gigantour wouldn't have been Gigantour without Megadeth. |
Killing is my business......and business is good!
Is it any good? |
I just got Rust In Peace and Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?. What albums should I get next?
So Far...So Good...So What |
Is it any good?
Of course it's good, it's Megadeth. |
I know what you mean, when I first looked at the tabs I was like  dámn that's hard.
I'll send you Peace Sells, what's your email?
My email is lightningmetal666@yahoo.com (not very original but at least I can remember it LOL) I'm pretty sure you sent it to me last time but I couldn't get to a cd burner before it expired. Hopefully all will go well this time............(I know it won't :upset: ) |
Of course it's good, it's Megadeth.
123 It's really good. |
Of course it's good, it's Megadeth.
I've heard some of the songs from Risk and they were horrible. |
I think he's keeping the current members for the next albums.
SWEET. Now I can officially consider this group as the real Megadeth. |
I've heard some of the songs from Risk and they were horrible.
You lose. Risk owns. |
You lose. Risk owns.
I hope you're joking. Even Megadeth fan boys can admit that Risk sucks. "Crush 'Em" and "Breadline" are awful as well as the other songs. |
