The Fall of Troy is a nice insane band. Like The Mars Volta but without any of the Latino influences (and more screaming).

Luxor 06-21-2005 07:52 PM

Alkaline Trio
Converge
TV On The Radio
!!!
Sigur Ros
Native Nod

Was quite a random music day.

Robert Crumb 06-21-2005 08:24 PM

Jeru the Damaja - The Sun Rises in the East

some of the nicest guys ive ever met too. weezer comparisons have completely dissolved. Let Go is a wonderful album but the Proximity Effect really puts them ahead of the game.

Luxor 06-22-2005 09:20 AM

Back to the Beatles arguement again.

White Album > Sgt. Peppers > Revolver.

AK47 06-22-2005 09:37 AM

no way

Abbey Road = Revolver > Sgt. Pepper's > White Album > Rubber Soul

adam_Q 06-22-2005 10:16 AM

i really like the red hot chili peppers. some good songs are:
under the bridge
otherside
breaking the girl
californication
scar tissue.

another great band is jimmy eat world. their new album, futures, is amazing. the whole cd is great.

hawthorne heights is another of my favorite bands. they have one album out, the silence in black and white. some good songs are:
blue burns orange
the transition
sandpaper and silk
niki fm

Zappa 06-22-2005 10:54 AM

Actually:

Abbey Road > Rubber Soul = Revolver > Sgt. Pepper's > The White Album

adam_Q 06-22-2005 11:00 AM

or

the beatles >> teh suck.

Tomahawk 06-22-2005 11:04 AM

I've been digging The Twilight Singers, Devin Davis, and the Rolling Stones.

I hate Sgt Pepper, and his lonely hearts club band.

AK47 06-22-2005 01:05 PM

bubbledeath 06-22-2005 02:41 PM

Hawthorne Heights=death

Jimmy Eat World=amazing

I've been listening to that new Stephen Malkmus album more and more lately plus a bunch of femo and pop. I think the summer just makes me happy which makes me want to stay away from the not so catchy and happy stuff.
