"Hey Shawn, so.......um, what are you drinking ?????"
Ok, so my day off here in Cinn. Ohio start's off with great news from the front desk here at the hotel that Starbuck's is a few blocks away!!! So, I venture off by myself for the usual ( which I cannot reveal for obvious reasons ), and sit in a corner quietly enjoying my great beverage. Seconds later, here comes James from D.T. strolling in, followed by Jordon (separately, I might add - like that fooled me!!!!! NOT ) Then, Glen call's me several times on my cell to see if HE and his wife ( who does NOT like Starbucks at all, I might add ) would like to meet me for a coffee!!!!!! As the hair on my arms are raising at this point, fully knowing that something strange is taking place here, Burton from FF casually walk's by to grab his coffee of choice, looking totally suprised that ANY of us are doing the same ( Ya, like I fell for that!!!!!!!!! ) and quickly depart's upon receiving his large cup of java. The weirdest part of all of this, is that all of the before-mentioned people involved in this obvious conspiracy are making no eye contact with each other, and are reading various newspapers. In a sudden panic, I jump up from my chair, and dart at full speed for the front door, never looking back until reaching the safe haven that is my hotel room. I have not left my room since this incident occured yesterday afternoon. I recieved no less that 14 late night phone calls last night, only to have a dail tone when I picked up the receiver each time. Naturally, at this point, I called our insanity specialist, Lance Dean, who's only responce when I explained this entire situation was "Be careful where you step" and hung up the receiver!!!!!! Apart from that, the tour is going great, by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shawn
I thought this was hilarius. |
haha he seems like a weird guy

...and then he relapsed.

Dave sobered up for good after the cryptic writings album
|
And now he's an overzealous Christian. Great.

When my and my friends shook hands with Mustaine, my buddy said, "God bless you." and he replied, "God bless you too" Oh.My.God.
Didn't he kick Rotting Christ and Dissection of Gingantour, or was it just some random concert? |
did you see all the bands when you went to gigantour?
No, I saw them in San Diego. There was no sidestage, so it was just the mainstage bands: Nevermore, Fear Factory, Dream Theater and Megadeth. I was kind of dissapointed I wanted to see Symphony-X. |

Yeah he was, even though I don't like those bands, I think he was acting pretty immature about kicking them off. |

Yeah, I didn't even know till I got there. I was talking to my pal about how Symphony is going to be awesome. And he looked at me like I was stupid and told me that no second stage bands were playing. Mike Portney also owes my ass an autograph. While in line he came to the back, where I was and right when me and my friend went up to him to get his autograph he ignored us, and said he was heading back to his bus now. :upset: Maybe he didn't hear us. But he sure heard the other guys asking. |
Symphony X was incredible.

when did your concert start?
Like 5ish, I think. I didn't have a watch, and I got there like 30 minutes before they opened up the entrance. I didn't even see him try to toss his sticks in the air. He probably did, but I was paying more to Petrucci. |
I realised how awesome Myungs basslines are live. I mean I knew they were good on the records but to see him do it was awesome. Speaking of awesome bass players, Symphony X's bass player is a MONSTER!!!

hell yes, but you couldn't hear the intro to sea of lies which sucked balls. If Megadeth would've played five magics and take no prisoners, I could've died happy that day. |
^Take no prisoners would be the ultimate live song
|
Personally, I dont think the new lineup can play "Take No Prisoners"

Why's that? Its not that technical. |
