Anyone like Dredg in here?

On El Cielo, Brushstroke: Reprise, the first two notes on the organ sound like something really familiar. I can't put my finger on it. It's like, the first two note are just right, but it should then go higher for the 3rd chord, then a bit lower.

I keep thinking its something like a movie soundtrack or a really famous piece of classical music. I noes it's vague but it's been bugging me for days.

Crapdragoon 06-11-2009 02:12 AM

I've just been roped in to play a gig as stand-in guitarist with my dad's reggae/ska band on Saturday. Their guitarist is going to be on holiday and their usual backup has ****ed his hand up.

Gotta learn 10 songs by Saturday. Fun.

Man, I wish my dad had a reggae band.
we never reunited in dublin :(
shame, i was there for like three hours waiting for the ferry. got there at noon. my grandma drove around for a while before finding somewhere to park, then we went to some pub and had the best food ever.

also, i noticed that compared to the welsh, the irish all drive like their drunk. you know, wrong way down one way streets, in the bus lane, etc.
How unfortunate. Good castles though
Have you ever seen W.B. Yeats' house/tower?

I'd probably go to Ireland just for that, and for the pubs.

Heidi 06-12-2009 03:17 PM

I'm thinking of buying a mac. I have guitar rig 3 right now, I'd have to sell it I guess. What guitar program do macs use? Is it better than GR3?

Staffordshire. Not all that far from Wales really. In between Birmingham and Manchester.

Blue_Moon 06-12-2009 04:40 PM

we dont drive that bad just taxi drivers are nuts but like every other place lunis arent to far away

jaklyons 06-12-2009 04:49 PM

Yeah, but Ireland does seem to have a higher loony to 'normal person' ratio.

Which is part of what makes Ireland awesome.

Blue_Moon 06-12-2009 04:56 PM

ive never seen Wb yeats house, he was born in sandymount or something i was ther before but unless ur really going to see it you prob wont notice it i sure didnt

well theres luni's and theeres scumbags theres a difference!

jaklyons 06-12-2009 05:22 PM

I can't remember ever seeing an Irish scumbag. Ireland's full of loonies though. Loonies and superior drinks.
