all thrash is melodic |
What's some **** similar to The Black Dahlia Murder? Like melodic death metal with hardcore influences... but not deathcore... if that makes sense.
|
I like Sodom's persecution mania... and the reason I'm asking about melodic thrash is because I gave Municipal Waste's new album a listen and I really like the melody... but it's a promo so there abnoxious beeping like every minute.
Check out Asschapel, Crucial Unit and Cross Examination. All rule pretty hard. |

Know them already... ok I'll make a broader rage... stuff like Hacksaw to the Throat and Black Dahlia Murder. |
for stuff like BDM i would recommend taking a **** and flushing it and recording the sound and adding some drums and your own vox
|

the end of six thousand years-isolation
really good stuff, youd probably like them |
The End Of Six Thousnd Years' split with Embrace The End is better, Last Requiem is a ****ing epic song.
Also, a couple good bands like that: THE DAMASCUS INTERVENTION, At Rest, Embrace The End (at least Counting Hallways To The Left), Rifles At Recess, Prayer For Cleansing, Velvet Dawn, etc. |
metal(core) with a strong poppy influence...pth, today i caught the plague, the syncope threshold...are there more?

If you still want some good death metal with strong hardcore influence, check All out War, this band is amazing. They play some "bolt throwerian" riffs with a hardcore singer and some typical harcore parts. And If you search some nasty death metal, you should listen to Immolation if you never had. Or Gorguts ! They are both unique, original, technical and... Well, they are just the best. |
I'd listen to Gorguts if adb wasn't so busy hailing them.
I'll check out All Out War, tho. |
shut up jaundice
and listen to gorguts |

Nah, Hail is good. |
I'm almost ready to give Obscura a second chance. I actually like From Wisdom to Hate, but I remember Obscura being a lot more grating.
|
I like all of their albums but Obscura. I might give that a second chance too.
|
do it
vocally it's pretty grating, but hey |
Yeah, I mean..I'm starting to enjoy Demilich a lot.
Will do. |
