name is tim. 25 y/o (26 in aug), from nyc. only been drumming for about 8 months, but it's been a childhood dream so I'm loving every minute of it.

just graduated from the school of visual arts, nyc, and looking forward to finding new and creative ways to avoid paying back my $60k school loan.

i knew the guy and he was like u want a job, i was like sure what do i do, he's like just follow me and watch what i do for a day or two and when u think you've got it let me know and you can get started.....so i just make like steak and burgers and ****

oh that happened to my friends, they wer walking in the mall and after 8 applications a guy runs up to them and offers them jobs in a tux shop. dammit.

My name is Cameron. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the United States of America. My normal username is "Super Cameron", but I got banned for stupid reasons. A few months ago, I cut the tendon and nerve in my left thumb, losing the use of my left hand until recently. During the time waiting, I continued to play gigs and such one handed. Now I'm back to getting in shape with both hands.

I'm 17, and I just graduated High School. I've been playing for about 5 years, and I dabble in other instruments, as well as composing pieces for various groups. I listen to all sorts of music, from jazz to hip hip to metal to pop to punk, etc. As long as I enjoy it. I play with many different groups, and sub in others from time to time. I'm attending Northern Michigan University starting this Fall, and I hope to move onto (possibly) Berklee or Musician's Institute, after getting some general education out of the way. I also enjoy playing basketball, reading, hanging out with my friends, eating good food, working out, using the internet, playing computer and video games, watching movies, and other stuff normal for someone my age. I signed up for this site when I was in about 8th or 9th grade, so I've seen it develop over the years, along with myself. Well, if I think of anything else, I'll edit or something.

I graduated highschool in 2004 and after going to LaSalle University to study Digital Art I am now going to a community college to start my music education. Thinking of becoming a producer or a music teacher (tho. a teacher that teaches actual instuments) I have played drums for about 5 years and I took a class for guitar in highschool for about a year but really started playing acoustic guitar seriously about 8 months ago. I'm a fan of mostly any kinda rock music from oldies to new rock to metal. I also enjoy computers, music, reading, writing, driving really fast, hanging out with friend and most importantly playing music with other musicians. hmm I dunno what else to post...

hi im tom im 16 years old and am currently enjoying touring. my band itworehimdown is my main priority, me being in 4 bands makes it hard especially as they are all differant genre's im in in a posthardcore band an alternative metal/rock band an acid jazz band and a covers band. all i do is go to band practises at least 5 times a week so im pretty lazy the rest of the time playing computer games and and checking out here or on PDF. if im not doing anything else i would go dirt jumping on my 24/7 and have fun with my m8s. at the moment im giging twice a week so its kinda hard to catch up with friends so you can be my friends!!

itworehimdown are on nada records from cardiff in wales, and we start going around the uk on the 13th of august. if you live in the uk come and check us out specific dates after the 13th TBC so watch this space.

i play a pearl masters and sabian aax cymbals and i live in a town called monmouth which once was renowned as an independant country and the treaty of versailes (war guilt clause made german pay reparations of 6billion)was signed under the uk and monmouth but when the war officially ended the monmouth representative was not available so officially monmouth a town of no more than 30,000 people is still at war with germany.

So yeah, my name is Jon Bleasby (Bleasby, Pleaseme..whatever..), I live in Surrey, SE England, I'm 17 and going to uni next year to do product design (hopefully). Been playing drums for about 6 years, and loving every minute! However i've yet to be in a proper band, need to find some guitary and bassey people! Music is definately a major part of my life, Dream Theatre, Metallica, Maiden, etc etc are all big influences to my drumming, although i definately don't say no to some hard house jaaaaazz...nnnice..

ANyone here seen that War of the worlds? I went to see it before. Excellent film, I'll have to root out an old copy of the book.

Hey guys just watched Drumline, and to be honest I enjoyed it. :amaze: Oh my god shock horror!

Yeah, I thought that movie was pretty good too. It sure has brought us drummers a lot of good press aswell. It seems like drumlines are now the "in" thing. Destiny's Child used a drumline intro in "Lose my Breath" and I've even seen a drumline in a Verizon ad.

Yeah I saw it. I thought it was fantastic. I would rate it as the second-best batman film, behind the original with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. It does a really good job of showing how he came to be, and it even has ninjas.

Batman isn't Batman without ninjas.

Yeah, but in Batman Begins it shows him being trained as a ninja. In all the other movies he was fighting ninjas.

Batman Returns was an old movie but id still watch it again. The penguin was awesome. WHos the villain in the new batman?
