I thought it was something around there. Maybe that is the date they will release the album.

ArcLite 01-18-2005 03:32 AM

Sure would be nice if it was. I'll kill to see their next, and possibly last, concert.

rippa32 01-18-2005 03:55 AM

Yes very possible to be the last.

AB/CD 01-18-2005 12:35 PM

if the album does good wont be their last they even say on stiff upper lip live tat they arent gonna stop until they feel they arent cutting hte mustard i dunno i cant remember the exact line was something like that

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-18-2005 07:12 PM

they are going on one last world tour this year or so i heard

rippa32 01-18-2005 11:15 PM

Yeah it might be the last. I still think it depends on how well the album sells.

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-18-2005 11:26 PM

well now with all the bear share stuff and free music no albums sell well anymore

rippa32 01-19-2005 04:08 AM

Yes thats very true. But still I cant wait to see accadacca live this year.

AB/CD 01-19-2005 05:09 PM

well people who download the songs arent very loyal fans if u ask me

Jim Spoon 01-19-2005 05:25 PM

rippa32 01-19-2005 06:06 PM
well people who download the songs arent very loyal fans if u ask me
Yes very true. But I might have to download Big Guns because it isnt sold anymore.

angusrules 01-19-2005 07:20 PM

all of the ac/dc fans out there, what is your favorite album by ac/dc? myne is flick of the switch or the bon fire cd set i would reccomend that if you find it

rippa32 01-19-2005 07:26 PM

So you have the bonfire set? Could you tell me if the Let There Be Rock movie that comes with it is a CD, DVD or VHS?

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-19-2005 08:19 PM

Calm down dipshit. I love AC/DC more than most as well, but take it easy. I'm not sure what brought about his statement but it is pretty much true. No matter how much your fan-boy ass loves them, on a relative level, they are not super talented. They're much more on the catchy side than talented. Many guitarists could make Angus look like C.C. Deville next to them. Moving on, am I the only one here who's a fan of Chris Slade as drummer? Not entirely sure why, but he was always my favorite, especially live.

rippa32 01-20-2005 03:22 AM

^ Yeah hes my favourite as well. Its unfortunate Phil came back and replaced him. Ive never really like Phill, dunno why.

gtarriff 01-20-2005 11:13 AM

IMO Slade was the best drummer they ever had

HybridOrigin7 01-20-2005 11:28 AM

The problem I have with most of the posts here about Angus, calling him overrated, is the fact that they're basing his talent by what they heard on the radio or a cd. Angus is incredible, most people dont fully understand his talent until they see him live and improvise soloes and riffs.

Cky Andrioid 01-20-2005 11:31 AM

AC/DC is a very good band. I Perfer Bon Scott over Brian Johnson.

This User Name is taken. 01-20-2005 11:31 AM

AC/DC are amazing, IMO.

Thier riffs may be easy and all, but they're catchy and do make some d'amned good music.
I can't think of a band that's a lot like AC/DC.

Heh, I named my cat Angus.

AB/CD 01-20-2005 05:02 PM
Yes very true. But I might have to download Big Guns because it isnt sold anymore.
i might be getting the big gun single soon reord shop near me has all sort of AC/DC stuff got heatseeker a while ago and the song snake eyes was amazing.

some1 asked about let there be rock in bonfire well its jsut 2 live cds its not DVDs ust cds good tho extra songs from the tour on it but live at the atlantic studios is better

shawnson 01-20-2005 05:47 PM

slade was the best drummer to me.
angus young is the king of three-chord progression. only he can take 3 chords and turn it into the awesome riff that is highway to hell.

AB/CD 01-20-2005 06:05 PM

but highway to hell sucks

and y do u all love chris sade he only done 1 stuido album and a live album and at that the razors edge only had like 3 good songs on it

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-20-2005 07:12 PM

yeh phill rudd was the true acdc guitarist personally i like brian johnson better hes alot cooler and his voice is raspier

Five Magics 01-20-2005 09:06 PM

simon wright was their best, listen to Blow Up Your Video espesially Kissin Dynamite

The Four Key 01-20-2005 09:41 PM
AC/DC sound good.
That's all that matters in music.
Wrong, you worthless no musical-sense kook!!!!!!

The Four Key 01-20-2005 09:43 PM
just let me say in advance that a lot of people will probably disagree with me on this but im kind of hypocritical on this so here i go....

AC/DC is a good band in the sense that they play catchy tunes that you can hear for the first time and sing along to or tap your foot to. but.... Thats because there songs a simple but good. AC/DC isnt all that great of musicians they've won people over simplicity and catchyness
You are uterley true and although it hurts millions of kook kids around the world- AC/DC wasn't all that talented. So stop trying to be popular by following the crowd and throw down you Back In Black shirts you bought at Target and Wal-Mart.

Joe 01-20-2005 09:43 PM

well, i can only think of a band that sweats AC/DC, Jet.
They do have really catchy riffs, and none of them are really that complicated.

they named beef Angus...

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-20-2005 11:30 PM

gocaps99 totally jet sounds in some songs like acdc and i also hate all those acdc wanna bees who the only acdc album they like is back and black and buy they re acdc shirts at target. (nothing wrong with shoping at target though)

ANGUS YOUNG13 01-20-2005 11:33 PM

the four key you couldent be more wrong

rippa32 01-21-2005 03:46 AM
but highway to hell sucks

Highway to Hell doesn't suck, it's just overplayed and sadly overrated. And just because Chris only did one studio album doesn't mean he is a bad drummer.

ArcLite 01-21-2005 03:53 AM

Highway can't compete with Shook Me All Night Long for overplayedness. I actually despise the song now cause I'm so sick of hearing it.

rippa32 01-21-2005 04:45 AM

The main reason I am starting to hate Shook Me is because I have started to learn it on guitar and because I am a beginner I make it sound crap.

AB/CD 01-21-2005 10:19 AM

well i hate chris slade mainly cos he ddnt do too much for hte band i think phil rudd is better than him

highwayto hell does suck its teir worst album with Bon

there is a bunch of 10th year kids in my school every thursday at 4th lesson they go into a practice room, play 'you shook me all night long' for an hour and they have been doing that since september 1st and the bastards still cant play it!!!

. . .

Good lord, this place is full of idiots.

BludgeonySteve 01-21-2005 12:02 PM

I've always said that Angus was underrated due to that fact that non fans have only heard pre highway to hell angus. He stopped playing fast and complex solos when brian johnson came.

AB/CD 01-21-2005 12:08 PM

if u ask me solos mean nothing angus is a pretty good song writer and a good guitarist but sure he cant be that good if amlcolm can match him on "can i sit next to you girl" that song had a pretty good solo in it and Malcolm played it and i think its 1 of their best solos

Chickenmonkey 01-21-2005 03:02 PM

My friend at school has 9 AC/DC shirts haha. I think their alright I just don't like angus' voice that much.

rippa32 01-21-2005 04:59 PM

^ You idiot. Angus is the Lead Guitarist not the singer.
