What exactly is a "medeival chord?" Did certain chords only exist in medieval times? If so, how are SatyriKoRn able to reproduce them today?

i dont know much about it but there is some sort of triad or a particular mode or something (i have virtually no idea about music theory so bear with me) that is associated with medieval music. i know of gorgoroth using it among others, i ran across something about it when i was trying to understand modes for guitar.

Medieval music is actually based on christian chants and its only apport to music nowadays must be notation, but besides that it's no different from music nowadays.

I just got Clandestine Blaze / Deathspell Omega's split, hope its good.

I used to really like DSO, but lately I realized how self centered their music is and how pretentious their style can be.

They are good at ambient.

Black metal is about self-centeredness.
