I was gonna do Mother with Flabbit, but it never worked out. Anyone want to do Mother? I've got the solo pretty well nailed.
I'd do it with you,. but I need some new recording stuff, my other stuff is fucked, and of corse you'd have to give me a little time to learn it as well. So you'd have to wait if you wanted to do it with me.

They should do an online one like they did with DSotM and Alice in Wonderland.

Anyways, just downloaded Is There Anybody Out There: The Wall Live a couple weeks ago and I'm sure I listened to it at least 5 times so far. It's awesome :)

I love it, much better than the studio album. The recording/production team deserve major props.

I recently came across the wall demos(Titled: "Under Construction"), a lot of these versions are terrible :-/

Where is the online one for DSOTM and Alice in Wonderland?

NightHorse, I'm certainly willing to do Mother with you, and you can take all the time you need to learn it.

MagicBus, I'm willing to record most anything you name.

Yield 11-26-2005 11:45 AM

Yeah, where can you find the DSOTM and Wonderland one.

Spinal Pap 11-26-2005 01:30 PM

Check this out.

Just scroll down a little bit and its got a bunch of PF synchronizations. I'm sure most of them don't work at all, but it's still interesting. According to that site, it's The Wall and Alice in Wonderland that go together.

Ok, I'll get on it.

guitarded_chuck 11-26-2005 03:32 PM

The only sync that I found to work was the 2001/Echoes sync. It's awesome.

Doctor Night 11-26-2005 03:55 PM

Whats the date for Pulse to come out?

Leper 11-26-2005 04:09 PM

Among a host of other albums, I added Meddle and Animals to my Christmas list today.:)

ROH 11-26-2005 04:33 PM

I'm pretty sure Pulse is coming out on December 20th in the USA.

Doctor Night 11-26-2005 04:35 PM
As far as I'm aware, it's December 12 in the UK, although I think it's a bit later in the USA. It's coming out before Christmas anywhere that it's being released though, so we can all get it before then. That's the only Floyd related album on my Christmas list, since I own anything else by them which I'd actually want to spend money on (well, barring shirts and stuff like that I guess.)
Thanks.

My Parents already got my Christmas Albums.

Mine too. The only Floyd album I'm getting other than the Pulse dvd is Meddle because my old copy skips about every 10 seconds.

i havent had too much of a look at the DSotM and Wizard of Oz sync, but from what i saw it was pretty impressive. a lot of it is probably psychological, but still, i was impressed.

They were showing that in my town a while back. I didn't get to go, but my dad did and he said it was really cool. I would definitely go if you get the chance. I remember it being kind of pricey, but it would probably be worth it.

Spikey69 11-27-2005 12:39 AM

I thought their performance at live 8 was fantastic, by far the best act..All the oldies there did fantastically. :thumb:
By the way....Led-Zepplin your avatar is..erm..well interesting..But it also looked very painful

Yeah, I actually posted that on the last page. It's great!

You can also do Ummagumma with 2001: A Space Odyssey (the monkey part) and Piper at the Gates of Dawn with Army of Darkness.

Spikey69 11-27-2005 01:10 AM

Led-Zepp.....Are those breasts on that girl real? Cos I'm twitching while she does that....It looks very painful..It can't be good for her.

ヴェア ラッセル 11-27-2005 02:14 AM

To those asking for the synced version of Dark Side of the Rainbow, I got it off of limewire so I have no idea where else it can be found.

Hehe, of course PULSE will get pulled back again. :p

i dont know anything about that, but ive got an .mpg of Comfortably Numb done at a concert (best.... solo.... EVER!! sooo much better than on The Wall album... jaw-dropping, i swear)
and the lights on that are amazing as well. lots of smoke, lots of lasers, and there was even a fucking big disco-ball that dropped from the roof, spreading balls of light all over the entire auditorium... and then it opened up and blossomed into this massive shape, dunno what the hell it was, but it was incredible.

all during the solo.

i've also got a friend who went to see Australian Pink Floyd, and apparently the performance they put on, music AND lights, is incredible.

so if you go and see that show, you'll be sure to be in for a good time.

hmm btw, what is this thing, anyway? coz the Floyd's have been broken up for years... so what exactly is this show your talking about?

It's not a live act or anything, you sit in a theatre and they play Floyd and put on a laser show.
