I agree. The more conservative screaming was Nymph's only downfall.

agreed. the guitar was the highpoint of that album for me, tracks like filthy little secret and coffin fodder have great riffing

I loved the licks and harmonizing on it. It was more melodically-based than any of their previous stuff. I'm incredibly excited about the new album. Due out soon!

There are so many better bands than Cradle of Filth that listening to them is a waste of my time.

I met Dani once in a metallers pub in my home town and I couldn't see why people slag him off so much. I thought he was very amusing and he even bought me a drink :thumb:
I still don't like the later albums though,"Cruelty&The Beast" is the best IMHO

I like dani's singing voice. I hear that instead of growling like most death-metal singers
(if that's what you want to call them) he actually IN-hales air to get that weird shriek.

I highly doubt it. Inhaling that hard to get that high of a pitch could easily damage his vocal chords beyond repair. I'm sure he just has a natural talent for it and has spent much time perfecting them, but like black metal vocalists.

Dani seems an incredibly intelligent, literate and general great bloke from what I have seen of him, you got to meet him :angry:

Danni in interviews anyway is one of the most interesting read's he does talk some bollocks but he always fun to read.

In an interview to promote CaTB that I d/l'd, Dani mentions The Who as one of his greatest musical influences...... ;)

Probably, along with Iron maiden, and whatever else is listed there in the member's chamber on the site...

I recall in "Revolver Magazine", or something like that, Dave Pybus gets interviewed and is asked about the writing process for the band.......Dave says that Dani will lock himself away for weeks until he is done with the lyrics. He also says that Dani has a ton of books and pr0n lying around his writing area......... :lol:

right dudes im seeing them in December and im now that clued up on all there songs because i dont have the entire catologue (its huge) so i was wondering what songs to swat up on that there gonna play..........any suggestions?

They have very few songs they are sure to play, even the new stuff may not be as prevalent as last time as they don't have to support the new album.
