|
Dammit, I missed my 600th post!
|
I lost my bought copy of IKSSE:3. I don't know what to do with myself. :upset:
Buy another one?
Dammit, I missed my 600th post!
/Me points and laughs Another question to keep this thread alive and well: How many people here got their friends into COnCA? I, for one, got 3 other people into them....the rest of my band, pretty much. 2 of them used to listen to slipknot (and still do) and the other into corny metal bands like matallica. Id like to think i broadened their tastes a bit. |
Yeah I got 3 of my friends to see them in concert about 3 weeks ago, two of them really love them now. I guess they're a pretty easy band to get into if you can get past Claudio's voice.
|
I think, like, 5 people or something like that. So... Spreading the love works wonderfully.
|
Keepin it alive:
What are the popiest-sounding and least poppiest-sounding COnCA songs? |
Blood Red Summer is one of the poppiest, but I think this thread needs to die now.
|
NEVER!!!!
Ive been keeping it alive practically since it started. Then every once in a while someone comes and bumps it from like, the 4th page. Meh, i guess it can die now. But its coming back in august, bitches. |
Screw that.
Poppiest songs are: Blood Red Summer Favor House Atlantic (never would have though, would ya?) Three Evils Faint Of Heart and I have to say that 33 is kinda poppy. Least: Everything else by them. |
I bought IKSSE:3 when it first came out wayy before most people heard them. I got my cd booklet thing signed by Mike (the bassist) and I took a picture with him. They were my favorite band last year. I also met Claudio.

Nice. For some reason, they seem really approachable. poppiest: Blood red summer Least: I KSOSE: 3 |
I found my CD!
I got one friend into them a lot...now he loves them. "Blood Red Summer" is easily their poppiest because well, the whole point of it was to write a good pop song. "Delirium Trigger" and "Velorium Camper III: Al the Killer" are the least poppy. |
I listened to "Delerium Trigger" today. What an amazing song, definitely better than any one on IKSOSE.

It's a powerful song, I give it that. But, IMO, Light And Glass has it beat. |

Nice. And thanks for the nomination. :thumb:
I listened to "Delerium Trigger" today. What an amazing song, definitely better than any one on IKSOSE.
Thats my second favorite song on SSTB. |

Just wait until you hear Everything Evil. |
Yeah, I have DT on the Warped Tour 03 compiliation, but I hadn't listened to it in so long. It's really awesome, like I said, better than the stuff on IKSOSE.
|
Am i the only person on earth that think "elf tower, New Mexico" is one of COnCA's best songs?
|
Probably, that song is weak.
|
I love Blood Red Summer at the moment....
|
I love the bit on the DVD when they let the crowd do all the Oh-oh-ohohoh's in Blood Red Summer.
|
I love playing Travis's part on Blood Red Summer. Very fun. The Light and the Glass is also really fun to play.
|

Thats what it seems like. I love it, though.
I love the bit on the DVD when they let the crowd do all the Oh-oh-ohohoh's in Blood Red Summer.
Its even better in IKSOSE when the crowd does the chorus part at the end. |
bump

I'm pretty sure that's the bassist- at least in the beginning? |
I'm pretty sure that's the bassist- at least in the beginning?
Nah, i think its all the crowd. Mic just says "you know this part" and the crowd does the chorus. EDIT: Oh, and if you listen really close in a few parts, the crowd is singing Devil in Jersy City over the band instruments and claudio. |
Claudio falls into a dream at the end of Second Stage Turbine Blade and is dreaming this dreamed reality all the way through The Crowing which is claudio who is supposed to be some kind of messiah in cuts marked in the march of men it is a battle between jesse and the red army chase is not a real person she is an I-Robot and she is jesse's daughter you could say because in the SSTB comic that is released she is created by jesse and jesse does give himself up for her because she is captured and then three evils is about jesse being tortured IKSOSE is about leading up to the battle and then claudio wakes up in the crowing and he realizes what he must do and Ambellina is a sort of fairy sent by the prise(people watching over man and waiting for the return of god) to watch over claudio in blood red summer claudio is in hiding and newo ikkin claudio's girlfriend is captured by al the killer a pshycopath killer who hates white girls and the velorium camper is his ship and those are all about al taking newo (he is actually just holding her for some people) in A favor house atlantic claudio rescues newo from al and they are being chased and in The Light and The Glass as you kno coheed and cambria are dead at the end of SSTB claudio is either writing to coheed or newo(not sure) maybe that was a lot and im not sure if anyone is even that familiar with the story but i absolutely love coheed and cambria and always love getting new info on the story and i love putting it together im constantly listening but i try and not put stuff up thats not for sure and most of this isnt proved yet but if u didnt kno coheed's fourth album "Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV: Volume One Through Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness" will becoming out august or september and if anyone else loves talkin about the story my email is ZachIrish555@comcast.net and thats it
|
Isn't it From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness?
|
ooops ya changed it thats what it was going to be then they changed it i dunno why i put down that one thanks

I actually think Al helps them.
The spaceship sound in the ring in return is the camper velorium taking off. I think Al is flying them to house atlantic (the capitol of paris earth) to kill mayo (claudio avenging his familys death). Think of it as the "hello apollo, where should i begin?" as claudio telling his story to newo aboard the camper velorium. Then when the camper velorium begins, its back to present day after he tells his story about his dream and him being the messiah. Faint of heart explains al's obsession with his gun, and backend of forever is him being obsessed with newo. Al the killer shows the true psycopathic nature of Al, and he tries to kill Newo but is given a second chance (the killings no fun if the heros play dumb). A favor house atlantic is the storming of house atlantic. The first verse is claudio teling newo that he wouldnt want anything bad to happen to her, so he has to cut the realationship short because of his new status as the crowing. The good eye snper part is Al covering chase and claudio as they escape house atlantic. II think newo is upset with the breakup, and while escaping the failed attack on house atlantic, and she wants to turn claudio over..."now you wanna kill me.....". The light and the glass....I have no clue. But i have heard theories of claudio being captured and put on death row, and they all seemed pretty sensible. |
