That's what I do, but my jacket is cotton, not leather. And use a pocket knife to bend the prongs.

i just got a leather jacket from a goodwill shop and I was wondering how I put in studs. Do I just poke a hole through the material and screw them in or is there any special precautions?

for my jacket i used a small box cutter and put a piece of cardboard under the places i put the studs in i pushed the stud in to leave a indent to know where to poke the holes then bent them by hand who ever said they used a knife to bend them is a ***** i put thousands in by hand

I tried a seam ripper to poke in holes, and cut in a small slit. It works alright, but i had some trouble with it on the thicker parts of the jacket... I need to find a dart.

Back when I had liberties I used Elmers school glue... that terrible white stuff. held up for days and wasn't rock solid either. Hairspray never did **** for me.

Were you using Rave 4? It eats your hair alive but it does a **** good job holding it up.
