my tats are going to be a crumbling earth on the back of my left shoulder, 'there is no god and we are his prophets' on my lower back, and 'nothing is true' around one wrist 'everything is permitted' around the other. no colors or gaudy pictures, just minimal shit that has real meanings to me and my beliefs.

i just want to get a bunch of weird awkward pop symbolism all over my arms and chest, anything below the waistline is tacky

This is true, but this is just because civilization and community need specific systems in order to function. There is leeway inside of them, though.

idk how someone presents themselves in public is usually a good indicator of at least a few important personality traits.
