Played my first cricket match of the season yesterday.

Scored 13, t'int bad for someone who hasn't picked up a cricket bat for 6 months.
Damn you.

Im confidant bout my batting, not done it in years but i used to have some good skills hopefully still have them.

I wish i could play :(

Mexican Bandito 05-07-2007 06:55 AM

Stand by me is a brilliant film.
The short story is really good too :)

watching Peep Show now lololol

Dead Star 05-07-2007 07:05 AM

God I hate revision.

2muchket! 05-07-2007 07:13 AM

Stand By Me is a good film don't get me wrong. I just felt qhear watching it.

Still River Phoenix ftw!

Mexican Bandito 05-07-2007 07:17 AM

"yessss, yes I am spying on your wife ._. yes I was wanking off to your wife"

this series keeps getting better and better
First time i've used 4od too. It's pretty decent.

Untitled 05-07-2007 07:40 AM

IVe had 4od for ages, not used it yet, im gonan watch grand designs though.

Dont the BBC have an On Demand service now too?

Pastorius 05-07-2007 08:11 AM

Not as comprehensive as channel 4. Once again, BBC lose the race to do anything innovative

Untitled 05-07-2007 01:09 PM

God im so fucking bored.

Mexican Bandito 05-07-2007 02:36 PM

na na na na na na na na BANANAMAN :D

Untitled 05-07-2007 02:42 PM

i was watching superted on youtube before :D:D

ChodaBoy 05-07-2007 03:41 PM

I left a bottle of coke in the fridge, and its started to freeze...

Ghey

Also i have tomorrow off. Its well minted mayte

Untitled 05-07-2007 03:54 PM

Wtf, your not allowed to say mint, or minted, thats what i say :(

Ergh, fuking snooker, 8 and half frames left or so, and its 11 already, its going to be on all night, but i want to watch, but i need sleep.

Patrick O))) 05-07-2007 04:03 PM

All I have to do now for tomorrow is an essay :D

Peice of piss. I've even gotten some practicing done.

Untitled 05-07-2007 04:06 PM

You know whats crazy. A load of us in class the other day where talking about how we quiet miss doing essays.

I really enjoyed doing my contextual essay this year, the onlp writing i have done all year, it made a nice change.

A whole course of writing i would absolutely hate though.

Patrick O))) 05-07-2007 04:39 PM

Should I do;
Technological developments may threaten the power hold of the major record companies but they open up new opportunites for artists. Explain how far you agree with this view
Or
Hearing music in everyday situations devalues the listening experience. With reference to the variety of uses to which we put music in our lives, consider to what extent you feel this idea stands up.
Pastorius 05-07-2007 04:44 PM

Do the second one

Patrick O))) 05-07-2007 04:47 PM

Righto!

ChodaBoy 05-07-2007 04:49 PM

I would do the first one. The internets gives many examples e.g. myspace with its friendliness (sp) towards other genre lovers, YouTube allows anyone with a camera to film themselves singing and gain huge notoriety (like Mia Rose)

Patrick O))) 05-07-2007 04:54 PM

onoes =[

I typed the title :upset:

tbh I was leaning towards the second one myself. Everyone's going to be doing myspace, and I can tie myspace and youtube into the second one anyway, so I can draw upon more stuff

Dr Hooch 05-07-2007 04:54 PM

2nd

first is overdiscussed already

ChodaBoy 05-07-2007 04:55 PM

Well fuck you all then

Untitled 05-07-2007 04:57 PM

I was going to say, 1st would be the easy option to do, so it'd look better on you to do the 2nd.

Patrick O))) 05-07-2007 04:59 PM

Hooch, Butler...

You're leeds calibre

Untitled 05-07-2007 05:17 PM

Oic....

Pastorius 05-07-2007 05:33 PM

Man, I seem to be listening almost exclusively to music with no lyrics.

God is an Astronaut
Explosions in the Sky
Red Sparowes
Ulrich Schnauss

etc, there is just so muc emotion in them, they don't need lyrics. You make your own story.

Mexican Bandito 05-08-2007 05:48 AM

I listened to EiTS for a while last year then something clicked and I stopped enjoying it =/

Organised a little trip for the beginning of June :D going in to town soon to see about getting train tickets :D
eeeeeep so excited

'sup?

2muchket! 05-08-2007 08:44 AM
Wtf, your not allowed to say mint, or minted, thats what i say :(

Was a good comeback from Mark Selby and a bit unlucky. Good final tho. Best since Mark Williams Vs Ken Doherty few years ago.

Dr Hooch 05-08-2007 09:13 AM

I used to like EiTS but now i have them because they're so souless compared to some of the montreal bands in a moderately similar vein

not going to leeds champ, though a lot of my friends are

bands not worth it for the £

Jev 05-08-2007 10:44 AM

Aww man I wanted Selby to win :(

Untitled 05-08-2007 10:50 AM

I wanted Selby to win after that come back, but saying that, im happy it ended, i was getting tierd!

Jev 05-08-2007 10:52 AM

I didn't know they would go on all night, being a snooker nub so I assumed it would be on today and missed it :(

Untitled 05-08-2007 10:54 AM

Nooo, they would of played all night.

Apparently the latest ever finish was 3:01am, but last night it was around 1.00am, latest final finish ever.

jpshortstuff 05-08-2007 10:56 AM

snooker is strangely intriguing to watch, like Deal or no Deal. i dont want to watch it, i know its a waste of time and theres better things to do, but if its on i will watch it anyway just to see what happens.

Jev 05-08-2007 10:56 AM

How many frames did Selby manage to win in the end then?

Untitled 05-08-2007 10:58 AM
How many frames did Selby manage to win in the end then?
i think the score was something like 18-14.

Jev 05-08-2007 11:00 AM

Ah right.
I finished watching after he won his 14th.

Dead Star 05-08-2007 11:11 AM

Higgins ftw

Wizard of Wishaw

Jev 05-08-2007 11:11 AM

I didn't like him because he was fat.

sizeism ftw.

Dead Star 05-08-2007 11:13 AM

I like him because he is from Wishaw.

as am I.

Pastorius 05-08-2007 11:25 AM

So I just found the headphones I'm after, they cost about £100, on amazon US for $20, and they don't ship to the UK.

Needless to say, I'm pissed off.
