For me it's:

Blood In Our Wells > Autumn Aurora > Forgotten Legends > Microcosmos > The Swan Road > Estrangement > Handful of Stars > Songs of Grief and Solitude

Haven't decided on the placement of the new album yet, I like it so far though.

Juddybear 02-26-2012 12:19 AM

hmm interesting

Haz 02-26-2012 12:48 AM

only heard Autumn Aurora

any of you dudes like the Absonus Noctis & Procer Veneficus split

Juror No 8 02-26-2012 12:55 AM

riffs towards the middle of Freezing Moon are some of the best stuff in all black metal

rasputin 02-26-2012 01:23 AM

still havent fully absorbed the new drudkh album but it's definitely better than handful of stars

Angmar 02-26-2012 03:34 AM

What's so insane about my rankings exactly?

Juddybear 02-26-2012 09:25 AM

that you have blood in our wells in front of both forgotten legends and autumn aurora...

Morumbar 02-26-2012 09:30 AM

For me:

Blood in Our Wells = Autumn Aurora > Forgotten Legends > Estrangement > Eternal Turn of the Wheel > Songs of Grief and Solitude > The Swan Road > Handful of Stars

I think..

Juddybear 02-26-2012 09:30 AM

my mind is being blown hard
that you have blood in our wells in front of both forgotten legends and autumn aurora...
It's easily their most elaborate and unique album, I mean I know one of the main reasons you probably like Forgotten Legends is because it's their most "raw" but you always need to remember I'm something of a "mystical hippy forest" black metal lover.

Juddybear 02-26-2012 12:14 PM

dude i listen to plenty of mystical forest crap too but the stuff after autumn aurora just felt ...forced or something, like they were just trying to cater to a totally different demographic

EDIT: not trying to sound like an ass or start an argument im js

Angmar 02-26-2012 02:51 PM

Blood In Our Wells has like their best riffs ever thoughhhhhhhhhhhhh

I mean seriously the first riff in this song:

False Dawn is definitely one of my favorite Drudkh riffs though.

Morumbar 02-27-2012 12:48 PM

Yeah, that riff is great.

What are Drudkh's best albums? I've never actually heard them before, and I'd like to give them a listen

christsimpson 02-27-2012 12:57 PM

Handful of Stars is the only not boring album and that's a bit boring too...

Morumbar 02-27-2012 01:00 PM

I think it should only take three scrolls on the mouse wheel to figure out what the best Drudkh albums are, seriously.

AYO MAGGOTS 02-27-2012 01:03 PM

Yep I quickposted from page 2090 and didn't see that you had already outlined what your favorite albums are and in what order etc...

witchxrapist 02-27-2012 01:04 PM

I like Estrangement the most of any of their albums, because most of their material is so similar in quality and style, and then Estrangement ends with Only The Wind Remembers My Name.

Then Blood In Our Wells & Autumn Aurora are tied, then Handful Of Stars, then everything else.

The Swan Road and Blood In Our Wells are decent

witchxrapist 02-29-2012 06:57 PM

Nah man, their early stuff is amazing as far as atmospheric black metal goes.

Angmar 02-29-2012 07:06 PM

Blood In Our Wells is their most dynamic and unique album.

Juddybear 02-29-2012 07:07 PM
