Though we had a good laugh when a ton of Mentally Challenged kids walked up to us and did a bunch of stuff..

One kid saw me like 5 times today and everytime he was like "HEY ARE YOU OKAY!!! HI HI HI HI HI!" only in a more retarded way..and he yelled it really loud.

Haha, as mean as it is those kids can be really entertaining.

So my show went well. We showed up and they were like "So, uh, you guys are headlining, go ahead and play for like an hour." They had told us half an hour so we'd only prepared that much material and well, long story short we BSed an extra set length, basically. But it was sweet. We ****ed up a lot but that's ok. I was pretty solid. Hopefully I'll get a video or two up sometime soon.

Yeah, I love playing shows, it was especially awesome that I nailed some fills I hadn't even nailed in our runthrough a few hours prior. Live gives that extra little adrenaline kick you need I guess.

Yeah, most of the stuff we played was stuff we'd played at practice once or something just for the hell of it. Half the time it was just me and the guitarist/vocalist because the other two got last good times haha. We got invited back in March though so good times.

I have a band :) Playing live is fun when you get a good crowd.

Performing is awesome. One of the best things about jazz is that you have the ability to play a full set with just about anybody else, since everyone knows all of the standards. You can go to a gig and watch your buddies play and then get invited up and play a few tunes with them without ever playing with them before and it'll sound awesome.

Playing is fun.

Even sucky shows (really sucky) with a good bunch of people feels great.

I hope something happens with my band by October.
