DW_ 10-29-2006 01:54 PM

No, I don't have any pics on hand. All of the cameras around my house have been crapping out lately. I'll get some up eventually though.

Cocaberry 10-29-2006 01:56 PM

DW, you from Norcal or SoCal?

DW_ 10-29-2006 01:58 PM
DW, you from Norcal or SoCal?
Cocaberry 10-29-2006 01:59 PM

Yep. In the Bay Area, about an hour from Sac. Friscos about an hour away too, in the opposite direction.

DW_ 10-29-2006 02:04 PM

Where your kit is concerned "Same as usual." doesn't mean much.

Got any new gear then?

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 02:21 PM

Nah not for a while now.

There y'go. No front shots of it in that setup.

Win A Rabbit 10-29-2006 02:23 PM

It's snowing like crazy here. I'd go take pics but my brother's right there and he'd think I was odd. He's gotta go get dressed/eat/go to the bathroom eventually.

Sunshine 10-29-2006 02:24 PM

Hahaha.

Who cares if your brother thinks your odd~?

I want to see snow, it'll give me hope that this year's snowboarding season will be better than last years, which blew hardcore.

spirit 10-29-2006 02:27 PM

Shame, Phil. Although, you appear to have drilled some holes in your Pearl hats.

maniac0796 10-29-2006 02:27 PM

We hardley ever get a good lot of snow. But i live on the coast. Last year we had a fair amount, but it only lasted like, a day here.

Maybe we'll get more. Supposedly if all this global warming crap is true, then there should be more snow! I prefer snow to boiling hot weather

Does anyone know what heads gavin Harrison uses?

DW_ 10-29-2006 02:29 PM

I haven't seen snow in like.. 7 years. Ever since I moved to CA from New Jersey. Pretty homo. I miss it.

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 02:30 PM
Shame, Phil. Although, you appear to have drilled some holes in your Pearl hats.
It would depend when the last time you saw it was.

The ride, pedals, rack and aux bass drum are all newish.

And yes, i drilled the hats and pearl crash too.

spirit 10-29-2006 02:32 PM

Ah, yes, I thought the ride looked odd. That's because it's new.

Aux bass drum? Cool.

Corkofski 10-29-2006 02:38 PM

snow pwns.

last year, i went XC skiing near my house

maniac0796 10-29-2006 02:41 PM

If it snows this year, i have all my sledging stuff from austria so it's gonna own!

We didn't go sledging down the ski slops in austria, what you on about?

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 02:42 PM
Ah, yes, I thought the ride looked odd. That's because it's new.

Its a 20" Zildjian Avedis Platinum ride. Fairly rare.

16" Aux bass ;)

That could be another reason the ride looks odd.

I like aux bass drums. I want one. Or two ;)

trysthedrummer 10-29-2006 02:51 PM

Im sure gavin uses coated equarians, I don't know what type I havent looked into it

Indeed. Its the best ride ive heard. I want a 20" HH Rock/Leapord/Raw Dry Ride or mebe a 22" HH Power bell ride ride to go alongside it.

Coolio.

I want too many things to list.

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 03:05 PM

Same :(

spirit 10-29-2006 03:11 PM
Same :(
Although, right now, I should be practising. I have to play first thing tomorrow morning in Rhythm Section Skills, and I don't think I can play the beat. Mostly cos I suck at doubles. It's cool. I'll ghost the first double of the snare instead. The guy won't care. Better simple and consistent than complicated and erratic.

Janeway 10-29-2006 03:19 PM

Hmm...I actually got a wallet.

A cheap $15 one from JC Penny that makes my look like I've got a tumor on my thigh.

Bonham#1! 10-29-2006 03:20 PM

two words: *** pocket.

Then you would have an *** tumor though

Janeway 10-29-2006 03:22 PM

Yeah. Girls jeans suck. =/

Sunshine 10-29-2006 03:22 PM

On the rare occasion I actually have back pockets [skirts generally don't come with pockets, and I've more of those than pants], I hate putting things in them ><

And sitting with a wallet in your back pocket can be really bad for your spine.

Drum Phil 10-29-2006 03:27 PM

And your ass.

Bonham#1! 10-29-2006 03:30 PM

How can it be bad for your spine?

raz0r 10-29-2006 03:32 PM
Im sure gavin uses coated equarians, I don't know what type I havent looked into it
If you're talking about Gavin Harrison, he uses Coated Emperors on toms, with an Emperor X on snare.

maniac0796 10-29-2006 03:33 PM

It makes you sit at an angle, curving your spine.

My friend has a crippled spine or something. He has to wear a really thin insole in his shoe. I was amazed that such a small thing can make such a difference. He can't walk if he doesn't wear it for about 20 mins.

Loser 10-29-2006 03:33 PM
How can it be bad for your spine?
Well, it would raise the right or left part of your lower body, while your upper body remains straight, causing the spine to constantly be slightly bent.

Electric Requiem 10-29-2006 03:35 PM
If you're talking about Gavin Harrison, he uses Coated Emperors on toms, with an Emperor X on snare.
and his toms sound better then anyone elses.

Dave*Grohl 10-29-2006 03:36 PM

you could really hurt your spine if your other asscheek is bigger
