Meh elections.
I'm glsd they're over. Herein the Netherlands you culdn't turn on your tv without hearing something about elections in the US. Come on. Im glad it's over and I think the people voted senisbly(?) with going for Obama. Sup peoplez? |
The US elections played a major role in Austria, than the Austrian election did one month ago.
I'm fine Peter; Got 6 free tickets for a small concert this friday - its going to be great! sup? |
Hey Kacper!
Nice, free tickets are always cool. Who are you taking? I'm doing fine, thank you. Started in uni again, after autumn break. All is pretty chillaxed now. My lady was supposed to come over, but can't come. So a free night for me, but she'll be with me tomorrow, till monday, so it's stil cool. I went to do Tai Chi yesterday, a cool experience. Looks like my kind of thing. |
For a metalhead, you do some surprising activities Petey :P
|
I know, I'm metal as ****.
But I also enjoy my zen. ;) It's cool to relax and return down to earth if you know what I mean. |
No it's cool really. Just funny imagining you doing things like ballroom dancing :D
|
Yeah.
I must admit, that's rather unusual. But it's pretty cool too. >_> <_< haha. Yeah, I never gave much thought about being this and having to act the same way. I just do what I like. :p Sup? Btw: Some new bands have been announced for Roadburn, including Om. :D |
Who I am taking with me?
Myself, my gf, her best friend + boyfriend, her best friend friend... one ticket left; I asked a friend, but he doesn't know and cause I don't have a lot of metalheads as friends, my gf cousin will get it if he doesn't join us ... somehow: lol At least I am really looking forward to this, cause I still see her hardly and its going to be 2weeks once again. The good thing is that she quit her job today and in 3 weeks she is going to work 15h a week, so she will propably have more time :) |
I saw that!
I would love to see OM again. Have you watched the videos with the new drummer? |
New drummer rules.

I once had free tickets for a Boris gig Awesome, hell yeah.
I saw that! I would love to see OM again. Have you watched the videos with the new drummer?
Nope, notseen anything by them with the new drummer. Too bad they canceledlast year, because the old drummer had just quit a few weeks before Roadburn. So I'll have my chance this year. :D I'm going to do some reading now. Later guys. |
Seeing Boris again on Dec 4th :D
I was discussing his with my wife: Why don't they just add up the popular vote and then have that person win? If that was the case Bush would never have been elected or re-elected. It's just odd to me.

I just think its retarded that the person with the most votes doesn't always win. This election in particular was actually quite close when it comes to overall votes. Only a few million difference last time I checked. I'll go check again. Ok CNN said: Obama snared about 62.5 million votes to McCain's 55.5 million, according to totals early Wednesday. That's not really the landslide that the electoral college makes it out to be.
thats somewhat depressing you don't even know the importance of the electoral college, yet you think that you know whats best for the country overall. |
i mean i agree that the popular vote should probably decide tbh
|
so you agree that NYC and LA and Chicago should decide who wins the election every year?
thats dumb |
No. The popular vote decides each state. That's enough.
Chicago decides for all of Illinois. You want them deciding for the whole country? |
so you agree that NYC and LA and Chicago should decide who wins the election every year?
thats dumb
not at all. haha. people are branched out enough around the country to weigh out huge cities like that. |
I think each state should get on electoral vote, winner has to get 26. What do you think of that?
The current system is a balance between that and popular vote. |
not at all. haha. people are branched out enough around the country to weigh out huge cities like that.
no no they're not. at all.
I think each state should get on electoral vote, winner has to get 26. What do you think of that? The current system is a balance between that and popular vote.
lol that'd be awesome |
it felt so good waking up today. i can actually say i really, really love america.
i enjoyed the video ghoul hunter posted immensely
what did i post? |
Great, you didn't before now.
|
im going to wait to praise him until he actually does something praiseworthy, tbh.
|
Great, you didn't before now.
i loved living here but i hated the president we had and hated the fact that the people allowed 8 years of it. last night was a huge step for us whether you voted dem/repub |
And if I say I hate the President-elect and the fact that the people allowed 4 years of it you're going to call me either a racist or an idiot. Lovely.
and I don't. But it goes both ways. People are going to get butthurt when the hating on Obama starts to go up. |
won't be a huge step until he starts making progress in the right direction tbh. i never trust what a politician says until i see progress because half the time, they just say what makes them popular and then do whatever they wanted to do in the first place, which could be the opposite. but that's coming from a cynical, sarcastic person that didnt vote because he didn't like either candidate.

but he's not a politician, he's our savior!
|
but he's not a politician, he's our savior!
 people are going to realize he's not at all and feel stupid, like when they overhype a movie, except about 10000x moreso. |

Bush shall make such kind of video Bill Clinton did - his last days in office:
