Here it is. If you haven't heard it, it's a necessity. |
That's a great song. I haven't heard anything else from his s/t though.
Broken Arrow isn't on s/t. Its just a good Buffalo Springfield song. A song off s/t that I love though it "Sugar Mountain". |
Badas music is best loud.
NP: Locomotive Breath by Tull.
I like any music loud, unless it's not good. The only reason I ever turn down music is when people are trying to have a conversation, and I only do it to be polite. I'd rather just yell over the music, than turn it down. Although I suppose when I say loud, I don't mean like super loud, just loud enough so no other sounds are louder than the music. I've got this song in my head, it's called Poverty Train by Laura Nyro. Anyone hear this song before? It was in some movie and I can't remember which movie. It's a great song too, she's an amazing singer. |
I dont like any songs off the s/t.
I have come to the conclusion that Jeff Beck's Truth is AMAZING. |

I have come to the conclusion that Jeff Beck's Truth is AMAZING.
Have you heard Guitar Shop? Its from '89 but its a pretty good album and shows he still has his stuff after 20 years. Blow By Blow is my personal favorite, Jeff Beck is just amazing. |

Blow by Blow is my favorite too. :)
Right now I'm trying to get seats for Santana and Robert Randolph so wish me luck. :) NP: Voodoo Child (live) - Robert Randolph |

At first neither did I but after giving it a few more listins it really should have legendary status by now. It could quite be the beggining of Metal; truly revolutionary. I don't like Rod's singing much though. :-/
|
Truth is a great album. Beck's Bolero is one of my favorites. Keith Moon and Jimmy Page make cameos.
|
np: Bob Dylan - Ballad of a Thin Man.
I'm practically addicted to that song right now. |

I actually like Rod's voice, but some of his stuff is just...eww... |
I only have Guitar Shop on Vynil, but I'll see if I can't get the song Guitar Shop up, its a crazy song.
|
Badmoon, do you happen to like The Pizza Tapes?

I've almost bought this several times at Circuit City, but I didn't know if it was supposed to be any good or not. |
I get in phases like that, where all of a sudden one band/song is the coolest thing on the earth, then several months later its someone else.
Same here. Right now it's with The Beach Boys and Elvis Costello :) |
No, it sucks. :p
Anyone have any Jeff Beck bootlegs that they'd be willing to upload? :)
ive got a ton. psh. you guys should be thanking me. i STARTED the jeff beck craze here. |
Can you post a good bootleg? :)
I got into the Jeff by listining to the Yardbirds and Jeff put out the best out of the 3 guitarists so I followed up on it and eventully got Blow by Blow. No one really introduced me to him or anything. I hope he tours the US next year. He's touring Japan right now (I think). I would do anything to see him. |
I got into Beck when someone uploaded Truth a month or so back. Good album as stated ^^^
|
I keep seeing this two-disc Yardbirds set at a used CD store near me from $18. I'm contemplating buying it.
|
What is it called?
Does anyone want the Yardbird's version of "Dazed and Confused"? I'll send it to someone on AIM if they upload it and post it. |

I had the Yardbirds version of DaC on my computer for a while, I dunno what happened to it. It was live I'm pretty sure. I still prefer Jake Holmes and Zeppelins versions. Anyone here ever heard The Byrds version of Hey Joe? They played it at the Monterey Pop Festival, the first time I heard it I didn't even realize it was Hey Joe. It's cool though, I like it. Not as much as Hendrix's version, I'm pretty sure The Byrds did it more like the original...which was a lot faster paced. |
I haven't heard it, but judging from the covers that The Byrds do, it obviously is gonna be good :thumb:

Anybody like Eric Sardinas? Very energetic act, but his voice gets repetitive after awhile.
Black Pearls is a good album. |
