why is that? |
why is that?
well, most elite death after the first wave is extremely generic and derivative, so we'll have to wait to see what Dargon thinks of them before we know how elite they are. |
Opeth sucks, and they have yet to write anything that is even metal, let alone death metal.
Seig heil to MORBID. Solid stuff. Desultory's Into Eternity is pretty good as well.
i dont know how you can make that first statement but w/e morbid is pretty good i have the A tribute to the black emperors split with mayhem. |

Opeth > your entire existence. |
So I went to see Behemoth last night. Apparently they're pretty hit or miss when it comes to shows. Heard a lot of people say they are really good, heard a lot of people say they're really bad. Well they were definately having a good night last night. The 2 local warm up bands sucked, but 3 Inches of Blood and Behemoth were bad ass. I'd have to say that last night would probably be somewhere in the top 10 shows I've been to. Lots of energy on the bands part, good sound, good lighting. I haven't listened to The Apostacy much so I don't know the names of the songs, but they played a few from that album. And they played all of the Behemoth "staple" songs...Decade of Therion, Christians To The Lions, Slaves Shall Serve, From The Pagan Vastlands etc.

 kid cracks me up. the existence of a single-celled organism > Opeth. Fleshbomb looks pretty dumb, unfortunately I have better things to do than sit around checking out each and every wigger death metal band that pops up so I can't give a detailed synopsis.
morbid is pretty good i have the A tribute to the black emperors split with mayhem.
What? I've never heard of this. |
I think it's a bootleg or something.
|
it's a japanese bootleg
A split anthology featuring 4 songs by Sweden's Morbid (from their "December Moon" demo, circa 1987), & 3 by Mayhem (rare compilation tracks with Euronymous on guitar)-- both bands feature DEAD on vocals.
|
It's a bootleg, but it's pretty well known and not exactly hard to get.

Yeah man Behemoth put on a good show. I saw them about 2 years ago and they were awesome. Not to mention he really knows how to get the crowd worked up and geared to go. |
Even though I've been losing interest in Behemoth, I have to admit that their live show sounds like it would be killer. I need to see them (not at Ozzfest)

I already have the MORBID demo, I guess I might be arsed to get it just for the Mayhem. Funny how this kid is acting as if some random bootleg is an essential and groundbreaking metal release.

assuming someone is an idiot because they think a band is **** is pretty dumb and narrow minded

If you believe that Opeth do anything other than suck massive donkey cõcks, you are too stupid to reason with, so I will not waste my time trying to convince you. If you are aware of the black hole of suckery that is Opeth, then you may be curious as to why anyone would ever like Opeth. Allow me to enlighten you. Opeth fans are deluded into believing that Opeth is “deep”. This is generally because they are stupid enough to believe that any band which uses both distorted and acoustic guitars is “original”. They are also stupid enough to believe that a band which is too lazy to properly transition between acoustic and distorted and instead opts to record acoustic and distorted tracks separately and then randomly splice them back together is “groundbreaking”. Combine this with the fact that all Opeth songs are approximately 3 hours long (i.e. “epic” to your standard malldwelling Opeth fanboy) and Opeth are both “original”, “groundbreaking”, and “epic”. In the tiny vocabulary of an Opeth fan, the only word capable of describing something simultaneously “original”, “groundbreaking”, and “epic” is “deep”. A better description of Opeth would be “the soundtrack to a mallgoth’s life”. Some Opeth fans also believe that Opeth is “heavy” or “intense”. My äss. No, literally. My äss. I’ve had diarrhea that’s more intense than Opeth. And the noises I heard that time were more interesting than anything Opeth have ever come up with. In short, people like Opeth because they are stupid, and because of the clever marketing skills of Jewish record executives. I must admit, though, Opeth can come in handy during theology debates. The fact that Opeth exists is proof that THERE IS NO GOD. |
I'm too hungover to read that.
Opeth sucks |
I'm too hungover to read that.
Opeth sucks
no worries, I'm sure it'll pop up again. It's something I wrote a few years ago and I use it whenever some Opeth kid gets his feelings hurt and starts to cry. Elim: thanks for the rep. |

Opeth are probably the most boring band to ever exist.
