She got a job or some s'hit, the Texan who can't spell knows the details.
yes i know all the details. (its not my fault old ladies teach us spanish and jibberish). but yea andy. here computer is messed up, well MX atleast. but her msn works fine. she was telling me about how she met Tim Armstrong at the Wapred Tour (she had an all access pass) and they talked about Joe. also she met Jay from Bedioun SoundClash, and got to take picutres with his guitar, the one with joe and marley painted on it. Paul is rocking out right here. |
Wow, with her horrible english skills, how could Tim understand her?
That was mean. Well I've got a story. In 8th grade art class, Me, my friend Rocco, and my friend Tony made a computer cartoon set to the music of Rock the Casbah. It was called Willie Wong's Day out, and I tell you it was the f'ucking sweetest thing ever. It was about a weiner dog who was kiddnapped by a Chinese Restaraunt and the ALMOST cooked him, but as Joe screams "The jet pilots waaaaiiilllled!" he busts free. I swear to god this thing exists. If I can ever get a hold of it I'll post it here. |
hahahhahah what! thats crazy. Andy has ok grammar better than mine at times.
whats capital radio 2? is that like the song captial radio?
Capital Radio two is a little different from Capitial Radio. The lyrics are the same but there 2 different recordrings. The biggest difference is in the beginning of Capital Radio Two there is a accoustic riff that plays for about 20 seconds then BLASTS into the song. |
Yea, and in the second part of Capital Radio Two there's a funny conversation between Mick and Joe.
Joe: Hey, you guys! Come on! Jonesy? Mick: Yea, what?!?! Joe: Hey listen, I been thinkin'... we'll never get on the radio like this, you know that? Now, I been studyin' the charts, with my mind, and my 'magination... and I can see it all now... the drummer's in the box office... and he's countin' all the money! (BIG EXPLOSION IN THE MUSIC) Later, maybe tonight I will do another installation of From here to Eternty's greatness, because the Capital Radio on there is sweet. Joe starts talking about Sham 69. |

The one and only Andy meeting Jay from Bedioun SoundClash and holding his guitar. Andy says hey clash fourm.
If you look Joe is painted on the guitar. http://tinypic.com/9sf52v.jpg |

yo ladsh :P first time posting here (been in big clash mood lately) anyway yeah i was told sandinista is a ****e album havnt got it yet but I need it and super black market crash or whatever its called. love from here to eternity at the minute great live album especially love armigideon time and magnificent seven on it.
|
^^^^ sandindista is their best ****ing album!!!! screw london calling and everything else they did, that album alone makes them great. i find it sad that alot of people have underated and devalued this album, its outright politcalness defined the clash at their core.....
|
what clash fan dosent like Sandinista. its a masterpiece, i havent heard the whole thing only half the songs. and half of its almost a double album ahha.
|
AB/CD go a page or two back and see my installment on Eternity's greatness.
And Sandinista! is probably their best album. It may be better than London Calling. |
I wouldn't say its better than London Calling.
|

For yalls viewing pleasure! |
London Calling wasnt as fantastic as most clash fans make it out to be i like every song on the album but its not their best at all
|
I love every song on it and it is the best album of all time. Sandinista is #2 as fars as Clash albums. London Calling > every album.
|
London Calling is easily the best Clash album.
|
It's the most popular, but best?
Probably. Depends on my mood. |
London Calling is easily the best Clash album.
Yes. And combat Rock is easily the most popular. Everyone knows Rock the Casbah. |
