You mean a young person's railcard? Get a photo and your driving lisense (sp?) or passport and they'll do it right there :)

I owe my life to my railcard. It must have saved me hundreds of pounds in the past few months.

Mexican Bandito 04-27-2007 12:16 PM

HOKAY COOL :D

Yeah it's going to save me a bundle over the next few months. I should've really gotten one sooner tbh

FVG27 04-27-2007 12:18 PM

That is my smexual railcard :thumb:

And the amount of train tickets I have bought since about... september I think. Each one at least £25. Eep. Which woud normally be around 40ish without it.

Untitled 04-27-2007 12:22 PM

how much % do you save on tickets?

FVG27 04-27-2007 12:23 PM

1/3 off. You save LOADS if you use trains a fair amount. Or tbh if you just go on one big journey and don't use it for the rest of the year. Definitely worth getting considering it's only £20.

Untitled 04-27-2007 12:26 PM

Im proberbly going to use it quite often tbh.

You can order them online which is handy, it asks you to put your passport number in though, so ill have to dig it out. It looks like ill be using the trian in a few weeks to go to leeds for my interview, and then if i go uni there ill be back and forth on the train, so its worth it for me.

EDIT - Asks for your Driving liesence too, you can enter either though.

FVG27 04-27-2007 12:27 PM

Deffo neffo. Is it not quicker just to go to the station to get it done?

Mexican Bandito 04-27-2007 12:27 PM

Em, you poser! :p

I've been using train a **** load over the past few months.
Journeys to Leeds would normally be around £40 so I'm basically getting my money back in 2 journeys :)

Ooh dinner :D mynce, kar0ts + onyongs :D

FVG27 04-27-2007 12:29 PM

Don't diss the ticket-wh0rage Zozo :p

Just ask at the ticket office if there aren't any lying around. Then just fill it in, get your passport and photo, give it back in and woosh they'll whip your photo on a card and laminate it :)

Pastorius 04-27-2007 12:52 PM

I found an absolutely amazing guy that makes music, his name is Jap Jap (well, his alias is) and it just really connects with me. It's like ambient electronica, and uueruheuruh it's just so well done.
