Is it weird that I gave my purse a costume?
Yes, yes it is.

Sunshine 10-28-2006 07:43 PM

Well, we ARE going to a costume party..

Futuro 10-28-2006 07:46 PM

I actually like that animal purse haha.

/Said in un-homo way

Bonham#1! 10-28-2006 07:47 PM

Its also weird that you say "we" refering to your purse and yourself.

Janeway 10-28-2006 07:48 PM

It seems like a very inconvenient purse.

I just use my pockets. Which is probably why my liscence is permanently curved and beggining to fray at the edges.

Bonham#1! 10-28-2006 07:51 PM

Get a new one.

Janeway 10-28-2006 08:00 PM

Too lazy.

This one is only a few weeks old.

I can kind of stand Dream Theater now.

Bonham#1! 10-28-2006 08:08 PM

Yeah they are pretty great. In small doses. I dont like [typo]John Petruchi?[/typo] well whatever the guitarist.

Berk 10-28-2006 08:11 PM

Petrucci I think...

Janeway 10-28-2006 08:12 PM

I like all of them except for the guy that does vocals.

Berk 10-28-2006 08:14 PM

My mom says he sucks.

WOOT! I'm uploading a 13 second mosh on youtube.

Janeway 10-28-2006 08:16 PM

I'm making a sweater for my kitty out of old pajamas.

Berk 10-28-2006 08:19 PM

My sisters drunken friends are threatning me. Cause I wont play dani california.

EDIT: I think one of them just called me funky boy? Erk.

Janeway 10-28-2006 08:57 PM

Wow. That didn't work so well.

I need to learn how to sew.

Berk 10-28-2006 09:02 PM

LoneStarDrummer 10-28-2006 09:24 PM

i'm headed to another halloween party in about an hour or so. this ones going to be two to three times the size of the one last night. should be pretty sweet.

Janeway 10-28-2006 09:28 PM

I just became upset because of an add for a show about vampires on the History Channels.

"In the 14th century a young Hungarian princess slays thousands of young virgins and bathes in their blood."

Yeah. No.
Elizabeth Bathory was a mentally ill, homosexual Hungarian countess who would torture her servants so badly that when she returned from her torture sessions, she'd be so covered in blood that people would say she bathed in it.

She's my favourite serial killer. Fricken' History Channel.

Win A Rabbit 10-28-2006 10:27 PM

^ Post 55555. Whoa. 5 5's.

I just made myself an easy $3-600. Go me. My dad's paying me $6 a shirt that I make for him, and he wants between 50-100 made.

Futuro 10-28-2006 10:28 PM
Petrucci I think...
Yeah, IMO he is the best metal guitarist out there nowadays.

Sync0pation 10-28-2006 10:29 PM

Petrucci is amazing. I love his solo album

White Riot! 10-28-2006 10:32 PM

TTTSNB 10-28-2006 10:39 PM

Right now, we should all express our love for Cocaberry.

Edit: And White Riot!, my personal hero.

Berk 10-28-2006 10:40 PM
We were bored before school started....
Bring a practice pad to school.

Maggot Dream 10-28-2006 10:43 PM

I have a pad stashed in the band room so that I can practice when the percussion section isn't playing. I kinda hate how I'm the only percussionist there who really cares about playing.

Sync0pation 10-28-2006 10:45 PM
Yeah it was cool. You like John Mclaughlin? Im playing Industrial Zen right now. :D
Haven't heard of him

my favorite guitarist is definitely frusciante, hendrix, or page.

Sync0pation 10-28-2006 10:47 PM

Berk 10-28-2006 10:49 PM

You've got to listen to McLaughlin. Get your hands on some Mahavishnu Orchestra, or get Passion, Grace, and Fire somehow.

That stuff is absolutely essential.

Sync0pation 10-28-2006 10:51 PM

ohhhh!!! mclaughlin is mahavishnu orchestra? Yeah I have inner mounting flame, that shts tight

Futuro 10-28-2006 10:52 PM
ohhhh!!! mclaughlin is mahavishnu orchestra? Yeah I have inner mounting flame, that shts tight
Definitely, that and Birds of Fire are my favorite Mahavishnu albums.

McLaughlin's stuff with Shakti is really incredible though. That guy is ridiculously versatile.

EDIT: Beaten by Futuro.

Futuro 10-28-2006 10:59 PM

Visions of The Emerald Beyond is my favorite Mahavishnu Album. But they are pretty much all good haha.

Electric Requiem 10-28-2006 11:07 PM

Birds of Fire, Inner Mounting Flame and Visions of the Emerald Beyond are the only albums by them I have. Theyre wicked.

And Stevie Ray Vaughan is my favorite guitarist.

Maggot Dream 10-28-2006 11:25 PM

SRV is great, for sure. Great singer too.

On the subject of great guitarists, has anyone heard of Derek Trucks?

Panopticon 10-28-2006 11:29 PM
