Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-17-2005 12:59 PM

Yeah, went to reading last year and this year again. I'm looking forward to it a lot this year, there are some amazing bands.

NOFX, Rise Against, Bad Religon= amazing

Dwarves, Alkaline Trio, DKM, Capdown= good

And there's more as well. It's got a fairly strong punk line up for a 'mainstream' festival

<---NoFX---> 05-17-2005 01:02 PM

Indeed, have BR confirmed yet? I think it's up on their site that they're playing but not on the festival site

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-17-2005 01:04 PM

No, BR hasn't been confirmed, it should be tonight.

It's confirmed everywhere on reading/leeds sites etc plus epitaph website, only place it hasn't been is the official site

<---NoFX---> 05-17-2005 01:08 PM

Have you got a weekend ticket?

pedro durruti 05-17-2005 01:53 PM

Everyone knows that Kylie minogue has a breast cancer and no one knows that one of the best punk bassists ever has lung cancer. That pisses me off so much.

Just like that time I ate dog food.
Have you got a weekend ticket?
Yeah weekend.

The deal with the Transplants is this: at reading they are playing on the mainstage and a suprise band will be added to the line up further down. at leeds they will headline the lock up stage along with BR and Hatebreed

SpecialBoy 05-18-2005 10:00 AM

Transplants blow.

Tim Armstrong needs some vocal lessons.

skateMASTERbater2 05-18-2005 10:06 AM

transplants, bad religion and hatebreed all on the same stage? weird.
I like the transplants unlike most people

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-18-2005 10:20 AM

Yeah, it's a triple headliner. I'm glad the transplants will be on the mainstage as that means hatebreed will be playing last on the lock up stage, allowing me to go and watch the Foo Fighters, if you see what i mean.

the suprise band that are due to fill in is heavily rumoured to be Me First ATGG.

I'm not a big transplants fan, although i'd like to see Tim Armstrong play live as i've never seen Rancid live. If you see what i mean

That post might be confusing....

skateMASTERbater2 05-18-2005 10:31 AM

I've been waiting so long to see rancid live but they never came, and it won't happen now as Matt freemans sick and all. Aren't nofx playing at one of your british festivals also?

Twat_Out_Of_Hell 05-18-2005 10:32 AM

Yeah, nofx are playing the reading festival as well, on the main stage.

Yeah i forgot that Matt got sick, that's such a shame, guess i missed my chance

RetiredAt21 05-18-2005 01:36 PM

I can't stand the Transplants.

sketchyjoe 05-18-2005 01:54 PM

I am off to see Howards Alias. Bye.
I can't stand the Transplants.
I have only heard one song and it wasn't good.

Jessizzle 05-18-2005 02:08 PM

Back in like...... A long long time ago, I liked their song Uhhh Dimonds( sp?) And Guns... but now the whole Whooo Whooo thing is annoying as helll.
