A break of what? That kit kat bar?

Zildjian 06-16-2006 11:09 AM

kit kats are grooose

fishbulb 06-16-2006 11:14 AM

I like them a lot.

Just printed out all of the rudiments from VIC Firth's website. Everytime i practice i'm going to spend half of the time working on those. (except for when my band comes over because they would hate me if i spent time doing those instead of playing with them).

Futuro 06-16-2006 11:15 AM
except that all rush songs sound almost exactly the same, except for suddle differences, or being in different octaves, rush is so lame
?....?....................!!!!?

Wait wait wait, where did I put my pills.

The Ska Man 06-16-2006 11:51 AM

gimme a break, gimme a break, break me off a peice of that kit kat bar! Man, I miss those commercials.

spike9908 06-16-2006 11:55 AM

Why? They were annoying as all hell. I'm glad I wiped them out of my memory.

Loyton 06-16-2006 11:58 AM

Hey kids hows good ol' D&P doing lately? Havnt been in dis ****hole forever!

spike9908 06-16-2006 12:01 PM

And you didn't miss anything other than a ton of shitty threads and maybe one or two decent ones.

What the ****? Not at all. If you listen to AC/DC all of their songs are layed on in the same way. They have some intro where the drums play a little fill then the whole band plays. Then the singing comes in and they all say the name of the song. Then they repeat that and then go to a solo riff. Then they repeat the first part and it's a song.

Sunshine 06-16-2006 12:34 PM

My parents are dragging me to Tucson roller derby tomorrow.

The most ultimate of hick sports. It's like Nascar, but they were too cheap to buy cars so they have girls on roller skates.

I think the only thing WORSE is mud wreslting.

is there really a problem with that? ac/dc made some pretty awesome songs, personally i think they're pretty good.

Maggot Dream 06-16-2006 02:24 PM

AC/DC is simpler rock that impacts at a gut level, and that's what made them great. Just because their music is simple doesn't mean it's bad.

Berk 06-16-2006 02:24 PM

I know TNT by AC/DC....
It's the only song I know by them..
Makes me cool, Eh?

Did i say that they're bad? No.

Was i implying that they were bad? Yes.

That applies to about every band on the radio today. One Band I actually like that I hear on the radio is Alice in Chains.

Janeway 06-16-2006 03:28 PM

I just listened to Tatu and giggled madly for the last half hour.

None of thier songs make any sense.
=3

Kosmos Tree 06-16-2006 03:31 PM

what did you expect? they are far more succesful in kissing each other on stage and telling everyone that they're lesbian...

Berk 06-16-2006 03:32 PM

It's lesbian love, It makes sense...
so i got bored last night
Don't you think you're a little old to do something that dumb?

Last time my friend got bored and we had fire, he ended up lighting his hand.

Janeway 06-16-2006 03:47 PM

I know they're a gimmick.
But it's amusing to listen to their songs and ignore their image.
=/

I managed to lose my only copy of On the Road, as well as the Oedipus plays and a book of dialogue from Plato. I know they're all in the same place, but I can't remember where that place was.

Kosmos Tree 06-16-2006 03:53 PM

yeah, i know how it is to misplace things and search them for ages.
i once put my telepon into a cupboard and searched hours for it (akku was down so i couldn't call myself...)

right now, i can't remember where all the time is
gotta continue to work on my term paper... fuck shinto and the state

that's a great concert

Hendrix, Mama and the Poppas, Booker T and the MGs, Big Brother, and of course The Who.

I doubt it was the whole concert. If it was the movie its only a couple of hours long or something, and they show like one or two songs from each group. Most of them played hour long sets or something.

EDIT: I also don't think Monterey was 3 days long. Woodstock was, but Woodstock was much bigger.
