I spent two and a half hours walking home in the rain last night. It was really nice. Sounds like you had a good weekend though. :thumb:
wow, that sucks though :(

how did this come?
oh well, but I guess it's pretty warm still where you live not?

here it's like 5 celcius during the night

dUSK 11-06-2005 07:29 AM

The two friends I was with really needed to do something to sober up, but they were also in no mood for sleep. So we walked home along a river from about 2:30am until sunrise. It was really nice. It wasn't cold, although my friends claimed it was.

It was a pretty scary night really, we were at some hard techno club, where we saw a girl collapse on the dance floor. Drink spiking apparently. Then I went to check up on one of the girls we went there with, and her eyes were rolling around in her head really badly. It wasn't cool. :(

I know this cuks indeed.
at my old job a girl collapsed, she had some sort of epeleptic(sp?) seizure.
it was scary like hell, and lots of people just staring at this girl, without doing a thing.

grr, that stuff really makes me mad

ps:
Is MSN being a bumhole for more people, I can't sign on anymore
sorry Stoic..

Stoic 11-06-2005 07:43 AM

I've seen a total of 4 seizures in my time. One when the kid who lived next door hit his head on concrete, two from a mate of mine who suffers from epilepsy, and the last was my last bands drummer, who suffered from an overdose of anti-depressants. They are the four scariest experiences of my life.

It's hard to know what to do in those situations as well, which is why most people seem to stand in awe.

Stoic 11-06-2005 08:03 AM

Alright Petey, I'm going to sleep and choke my sadness. See ya whenever :(

So is mine, but you don't see me going on about it.

Anyway, last night was brilliant. As you may or may not know I went to the organ festival in St. Albans cathedral. Program was as follows:
J. S. Bach
Prelude & Fugue in E minor, BWV 548
An Wasserflussen Babylon BWV 653
Aus tiefer Not schrei ich zu dir BWV 686

All the works by Bach were awesome, particularly BWV 548 and BWV 686. The organist talked about the works before he played, and he said that BWV 686 was in six parts! Two parts for each hand and a part for each foot.

Herbert Howells
Psalm Prelude Set 1, No.2

Hadn't heard of this composer before, so it was the first time I heard this piece. It was pretty good, but not up there with Bach.

Julius Reubke
Sonate 'Der 94. Psalm'

I had never heard of this composer before yesterday, but wow. This piece of music was incredible. It created an incredible atmosphere and in places it sounded downright menacing.

Later in the evening I went out, met some friends and drank vodka. All in all, a great evening.

That's a shame, live organ music is incredible :(

My dad took me, and he enjoyed it aswell despite the fact that he is not really a fan of classical music. He said he will take me to the next one, which is in January so that's something I have to look forward to.

Man, last night we had some crazy weather. First it was windy like fuc for a few hours, then there was thunder and lightning, then rain poured down literally by the fricken gallon, and then it hailed. Now today it's clear outside.

My radar was going nuts last night... entire blobs of orange and red were directly over my county for hours. I kept getting kicked off of MSN last night, as most of you know if you were talking with me, heh.

I remember this. We kept readding you though so it was all cool

So how funny, I can sleep 12 hours 9-9 and miss less than 2 pages. But I can sleep 12 hours from 12-12 and miss like 6 pages. Crazy how activity here is so time dependent.
your radar? :amaze:

I have a program on my computer called Desktop Weather (derrhrrhrr). It tells me the temperature outside, the humidity, etc., and it also gives me a Doppler radar reading. It's really handy in the mornings since I have early classes to find out how warm/cool it is outside, and weather (lolz pun) or not I should throw on a hoodie.

I guess it's an equivalent to WeatherBug? I dunno, I've never used that program...

The one thing I don't like about DW is that whenever there's a storm (say, last night for forever), when it first approaches, the computer makes a booming thunder noise. Now, I usually have my speakers on for music or gaming, so this scares the hell out of me (because it's getting to the time of year when rain and thunder are making way for snow).

But yeah, it's a very nifty program. I enjoy it.

Oooh yeah. That was taken from "Hymn II".
