Bonnie Prince Billy - Ask Forgiveness
Wino - Punctuated Equilibrium

seeing Wino (from Saint Vitus and the Obsessed) on Saturday, should be a great show

YourBiggestFan 02-05-2009 08:52 PM

Okay, I'm really liking the Pains of Being Pure at Heart. They shamelessly lift from MBV. More bands should.

Pink Floyd - Meddle

StreetlightRock 02-06-2009 01:17 AM

DJ Hidden - The Later After
SPL - Hollow Point

Darkstep, really really grimy heavy DnB, SPL is mindblowing.

catharsis 02-06-2009 09:39 AM

giving VanGaalen - Infiniheart a first listen. I've been getting mileage out of Skelliconnection and Soft Airplane.

Well, Friend Opportunity is their kid-tested, Pitchfork approved album, but Apple 'O is my personal fav.

Actually, get the Green Cosmos EP. It's short and sweet, but just about perfect.

I'm liking the Depreciation Guild, in spite of their godawful name.

niobium 02-07-2009 12:38 PM

I heard the Wipers for the first time this week. The first track on the album is really good but the rest kind of let it down, it's like a 3/5 overall.

edit: album is Youth of America obv

depends on what the "first track" is cause apparently there are different track orders. the first song should be No Fair, cause it just SOUNDS first
