People have died because they were playing World Of Warcraft and forgot to eat.

Seriously.

(Well, at least one person)

And when their room is searched they find bottles and bottles of urine.
some RPG's are good but alot are garbage
I've played few RPGs that I've really disliked. Most of the ones I disliked tried to have real-time battle systems that were just horrible. Namely Star Ocean 2.

Tactics Games can be a little more iffy, though. Battles can get boring because the battles are long and repetative (Gladius...). However, when done right, they are a ****load of fun (Makai Kingdom, Front Mission 4, Disgaea).

Fish 11-11-2005 05:01 PM

tactic games just get really repetitive really fast to me

Kif 11-11-2005 05:20 PM

Woah, the latest episode of Lost sucked. Not in a sucky way, but it sucked because of what happens in it (I won't spoil it)

sweboy 11-11-2005 05:21 PM

What's goin' down, Pop-Punk?

Gnarmageddon 11-11-2005 05:21 PM

Excursions 11-11-2005 05:26 PM

The only rpg game or any game I have played on my computer for years is Dungeon Siege 2.

Permanent Solution 11-11-2005 05:38 PM

Dude, I was looking for something to do to waste time, and then I read this thread...

/just spent 2 hours on the phone with the gf, till the phone died

I feel sorry for the person who made that call, and I hope they have enough money to cover it.

I'm gonna play Spidey, and tomorrow I might just watch Lost all day, and point out things I already know are going to happen.

...And now you only have 180.

chumpradio 11-11-2005 06:41 PM

I just got back from Bloodhound Gang.
It was great fun.
I saw lots of boobs!
And they covered Free Love Freeway, from the Office.
The Ballad Of Chasey Laine was my favourite song.

EDIT :
Fuck!
I have a hard choice to make.
Do I go to see The Academy Is... and Panic! At The Disco, or The Starting Line and MXPX?
They are both on the same day. :(

I'd personally go to the first one. Not because I whore the hell out of P!ATD, but because I'm not that big a fan of either band from the second one. And The Academy Is... are awesome, I bet they are good live.

Untitled 11-11-2005 07:03 PM

Id rather see TSL and MXPX to be honest.

Where are they playing? i might go see that if its around these parts.

Mute Print 11-11-2005 07:03 PM

The Starting Line are really fun live, as are MXPX.

I've never seen the others.

Obviously, you hate P!ATD.

I just realized I haven't seen Land Of The Dead yet. But to be fair, it is 1:11 in the morning. Seeya

I don't want to claim him, but I have to :( (He's a lot cooler off the forums, here he's...ugh)

Lets just say if you find him, it'll be easy as hell to flame him.

Excursions 11-11-2005 09:01 PM

Tired. I'm going to bed soon. I've been round at a lady mate's house, but my feet got turned to blocks of ice by having to wait outside for my taxi for about 25 minutes. Twasn't fun.

So I'm waiting for them to feel a bit warmer before going to bed.

Won't bed be warm though?

Mute Print 11-11-2005 09:12 PM

I've been sleeping for most of the day. I didn't get up until noon, and then I took a nap from 4:00 - 5:30. I hate being sick.

Not immediately... I had a quick feel before and it's freezing. I turned on the heater as well so my room is slowly warming up. I might go after this song's (JEW - Polaris) over, actually.

Thanks. I have five shows next week, and they'll be much more fun if I'm healthy.

Permanent Solution 11-11-2005 09:21 PM

Five? Dayumn.

I have Thrice the 19th and maybe the 20th too if I feel like it, and I play on the 22nd, but that's it till after Thanksgiving break.

Mute Print 11-11-2005 09:28 PM

I still have six shows left before Thanksgiving...

11/15 - My American Heart/A Change Of Pace/Greeley Estates
11/16 - Alexisonfire/A Wilhelm Scream/The Receving End Of Sirens
11/17 - Bury Your Dead/Terror/Scars Of Tomorrow/August Burns Red
11/18 - Boy Sets Fire/The Fall Of Troy/The Sleeping
11/19 - Matchbook Romace/Armor For Sleep/Gatsby's American Dream/Lovedrug
11/23 - It Dies Today/Still Remains/Scars Of Tomorrow/Bullet For My Valentine

Permanent Solution 11-11-2005 09:33 PM

Hmm, most of those aren't hugely appealing to me (like Thrice is), but I'd see most of em, mainly for openers. ACoP, AWS, AFS, SR

Mute Print 11-11-2005 09:36 PM

A Wilhelm Scream is going to be awesome. It's my third time seeing them in as many months.

It Dies Today will be insane, because they're one of the biggest bands to come out of this area in a while, and they're playing here the night before Thanksgiving. I'm guessing it will sell out.

cbmartinez 11-11-2005 09:57 PM

Dane Cook was ridiculous.
