Guess what, i have my sisters guitar, i can almost play superman by stereophonics, well i learnt the solos, the reat is all powerchordes and i can get it down in a few seconds :cool:

It feels really weird switching from Bass to Guitar, like my hands will break the neck.

My hands feel a bit cramped. I can usualy play guita ok though, bit a bit sloppy. Proberly because its the same left hand technique as bass so i can solo pretty good, but i hit the wrong frets because they are smaler then i think.

I once got to play both bass and guitar in a recording session. We did the bass parts first, went for lunch, and then when we got back the guitar seemed so tiny and small-stringed in comparison.

Bass is fun, but guitar is more impressive.

In other news, I think I'm going to see the Pogues with the Dropkick Murphys on December 17th in Manchester. Exciting stuff...

Bah guitar has ****ed up my fingers.

Im trying to find a gig to go to on the 23rd of jan, im manc, but the closest i have got is the 22nd of jan, and its to see HIM :upset:

I want to find a gig the day Gaby comes back because she said she wants to go out and do something that night, but I've had no luck thus far and most other activities are a bit boring :-\

Whereabouts do you live? Are there any good music venues near you? This is a problem I often have - York has so few decent venues, and I can't often find the funds and people to go with to get the train to Leeds or Manchester or wherever. So I never get to go to shows, unless I get a random stroke of luck and someone good plays at Fibbers. AT the moment, their list of booked bands isn't too impressive.

No, last time we did that she felt sick all night and it wasn't even too much fun sleeping next to her :-\

I have good venues because Denver's a pretty good sized city, and I have access to all the venues there within an hour or so drive. There's probably half a dozen good venues up there though. Possibly more. Good band lists too.

Ill have a big party at the pub. And the clubs in town proberly, then on a different night go into bury and stuff, i dunno.

As I am aware. The Pogues gig is at the MEN, which should be awesome. I saw Blink 182 there last year and it was mint.
