well I wanted to become an independent filmmaker for a long time

realised I was gonna be poor and lonely spending 8 hours a day teaching myself so I had 2 become a chef.

maybe the film can be about that

well, the reality of having bills to pay and not having anybody with the same interests as me living nearby had a lot to do with it

it's fine to follow your artistic dreams and whatnot but when you really need to raise capital and talk your way into people investing their money in you it becomes overwhelming
