Get iTunes, it converts the files to a playable format.
iTunes is the best anyways in my opinion.

Edit: except when people post .wma stuff on YSI

Anxious 08-27-2005 01:45 PM
What kind of music do they play?
They take presidential speeches and songs from the beatles and splice them together, and make some weird songs.

Brain Toad 08-27-2005 01:51 PM

iTunes is for queers.

Anxious 08-27-2005 01:53 PM

I use media monkey, thanks to Nick.

Shtein 08-27-2005 02:04 PM
I dont use it to play, just to rip, convert and orginize. I use Winamp to play.
Good boy. I just use it convert because I'm well set in Audiograbber for ripping (used to use Exact Audio Copy before it crapped out on me) and my utilimate DBpoweramp, that never expires.

DaveToopes 08-27-2005 02:12 PM

Can iTunes convert wma to mp3?

Anxious 08-27-2005 02:13 PM

How much does the ulitimate dbpoweramp cost? Mine expired.

DaveToopes 08-27-2005 02:14 PM
iTunes is for queers.
That hurts.

Brain Toad 08-27-2005 02:14 PM
How much does the ulitimate dbpoweramp cost? Mine expired.
Free from me. I have it on Soulseek. It is a package I compiled, pretty legally because I'm just giving you an encoder to use instead of using their encoders which expire.

Operation: Cliff Clavin and The Devil is Electric are currently my favourite PiX bands. They make me want to form my own folk-punk band.

So I just got back from biking...

I was chilling at Starbucks with my friend, and I invited him back to my house. On the way back theres this pretty steep hill next to a major road. So i'm whippin down the hill, and I decide to stand up, then I think, why stop there? So I take my hands off the handlebars. Next thing you know I'm riding down this hill standing up with no hands, I don't really know what happened next but I wake up on the pavement with this lady I've never seen in my life standing over me. My friend is holding a cell phone, so I ask him what's going on. He's like "Man you totally bailed, I'm phoning your dad to come pick you up"

So I look in in the window of this lady's (who pulled over to help me out) car, and see that there is literally no skin on my nose whatsoever. So I get picked up by my dad who is pretty cheesed. Upon further inspection, I find a total of 14 abrasions over my body, ranging from road rash on my ass, to a deep cut on my elbow, the worst of which is a huge patch of no skin on my right knee about the size of my palm.

All I can think about at the moment is whether or not I'm gonna have a huge scab on my nose for when school starts. I also can't straighten my right leg, and I'm debating whether or not to ask my dad to drive me to emerge.

You should go get yourself checked out at the hospital, if not just for the legs, but for the abrasions and stuff, make sure they are cleaned properly and make sure you don't get tetnus. Emergency room may be expensive though.

And time consuming. When I went there last it took about 6 hours just to see a doctor.

The money isn't a problem, I just don't want to waste my Saturday at the hospital. I just took a very thorough shower and made sure to clean all the shit out of my wounds. I think I'll be fine, it's my leg I'm worried about.

My mom is a doctor, so she knows lots of people at VGH (Vancouver General Hospital). I shouldn't have to wait for long if i go. :thumb:
