Phill 07-05-2006 05:15 AM

It's a bit overcast here (Hull) but still no sign of rain or anything yet.

I am hoping the weekend will be good as I am going down to the beach with some friends and a crate of beer

jpshortstuff 07-05-2006 05:18 AM

sounds like fun. my grandparents are coming down for the weekend. no crates of beer for me :upset:
probably going into town tomorrow: music stuff shopping.

Phill 07-05-2006 05:22 AM

You should just drink before they come over :p

What music stuff are you going to buy?

2muchket! 07-05-2006 05:26 AM

I want a slayer album but don't know what to get.

jpshortstuff 07-05-2006 05:32 AM

hmmm i wonder how my parents would take that. i have to greet them and make tea etc 'cus my parents are out when they arrive.

well i need to get some strings for my acoustic gee-tar, some more plectrums and then i'll look at 7-strings and the Boss GT-8. still not sure if i should buy the GT-8 now, or save up for a 7-string and the GT-8 later.

Slayer eh? well i have most of their albums but im not sure what to recommend. Reign in Blood is pretty good.

Phill 07-05-2006 05:36 AM

ITT: I just rang the council to complain about noise pollution, my next door neighbours are been dicks

PAJJ 07-05-2006 05:38 AM

hey thread

went and saw alice in chains yesterday, as expected it was really ****ing awesome

/sees iron maiden album, creams pants aswell, that albums so going to rule, even the artwork is back to being awesome.

Lord Abortion 07-05-2006 05:42 AM

I would say something early, Hell awaits or something along those lines, Reign in Blood is great, but Seasons in the Abyss has Dead Skin mask, which is quite clearly the best song they have ever written.
The early stuff has more Thrash credibility, but anything post-seasons is a bit gay.I mean they released an album called "Undisputed attitude"....I mean, ugh, how fucking faggy can you get?

jpshortstuff 07-05-2006 06:06 AM

TESCO just rang. i have my first overtime shift tonight. im gonna be raking in the money soon! sorry to hear about your money troubles AG.

AG 07-05-2006 06:10 AM

So I had planned to go and see Emily (herbert) this weekend. I had bought my ticket.

She got her dates wrong, and she's actually in spain right now.

It's highly unlikely I can get a refund.

I'm annoyed at her, I'm annoyed at myself.

GurS 07-05-2006 06:21 AM

you could go to her house anyway, y'know. fulfil any clothes-related fetishes you may have.

AG 07-05-2006 06:36 AM

The only upside is that I can now go to one of my best friends birthday night out thingy, and see Skindred.

But that's gonna cost money I really can't afford.

AG 07-05-2006 06:42 AM

Not really, but I hope so too.

ChodaBoy 07-05-2006 07:27 AM

Why do tech support call centres never have workers who actually have computer knowledge?

PAJJ 07-05-2006 07:31 AM

it's cheaper, and that way it doesn't get fixed and there's more chance of you buying a new one, meaning more money for them :p

Jev 07-05-2006 07:44 AM

Yeah cheaper, like the 118 guys in India. They work for like £5 a day.
