Well its all opinion son. Personally I'd be a fan of them taking some new ideas and constructing a film instead of recycling old comic book ideas and cartoons and combining them with stereotypical, predictable, linear narratives.

Meh, if theyns making money from it, props to them. I just don't think we're creating a good example for todays generation.

While they may not have been in the original comic the writiers clearly just research the comic, write the narrative and scripts based exactly on it. Naturally.

venom is supposed to be in the third movie.

as far as the spiderman movies i love them. it so cool to see it on sceen like that and they are way,WAY better than the original movies from the 70's.

i think the x-men and spiderman are doing good. i dont read the comics anymore cause they just kept fugging them up so the movies bring my old favs back.

but fantastic four and punisher sucked.

I wanna see a silver surfer movie. That would be by far the best. Did Xmen 3 have a different director? It didn't seem as good as the others.

i don't know,silver surfer seems it will end up like punisher. those two chracters don't have the emotional hold on the audience like the more human acting chracters...

yeah x-men 3 was a different director. i liked his movie the best. he tried to add in as much as he could even if it wasn't explained. he also tried to stay away from everything similar to the comic book. (no phoenix bird,cyclops dying,etc.)

yea your right about the emotional grip stuff. I think thats why people didn't like daredevil that much. Either that or Ben Affleck:p

The reason I didn't like Daredevil was because it wasn't eventful in the least. Movies need to be eventful or they just fail.

I quite liked daredevil, must just be me though.
I love the spider man movies, the characters make it so easy to get involved since their so well known and well-developed they almost seem like real people.
