I just paid another $300 for one class at the community college. Still have to pay for my Java programming class (a requirement for a math degree, for some reason) and then my Linear Algebra class.

Needless to say, I need to start getting rid of some gear to pay off my classes and now-maxed-out credit card.

EDIT: Worse, I just found out that my mom's health insurance is dropping me because I am 1 credit shy of full-time student status and there's no way I'll have time to take another course. **sigh** Time to start paying for health insurance at work.

Canon G10. I downgraded from a Rebel XTi DSLR, just because I was finding the DSLR to be too big and cumbersome, plus I like taking pictures at concerts, and most venues wouldn't let me bring it in because it was 'professional' equipment (that is to say, it had interchangeable lenses).

So the G10 is basically a DSLR in spirit in every possible way, except that it doesn't operate internally like one. Really great, though. I've got access to EV and ISO values from turn dials on top (no navigating menus), I can put it in full manual mode, and take movies with it. 14.7MP, DIGIC IV processor, shoots in RAW, 3" LCD. I lurve it.

Only downside is that the built-in zoom is only 6.1-30.5mm, but I can easily buy a lens hood and attach anything else that I want (at this point, I'd probably only be looking to add on a 50mm 1.8f, to replace the one that I sold with my XTi). Just because I find 30mm to be a bit closer than I'd necessarily like. But that's fine. I snagged it for $470 + tax, which is the cost price.

Nice buy, dude. I have a dinky 5MP digital camera that I've been using for my stuff. It gets me by as long as my pictures aren't any bigger than 700x700 or something. Lol.
