this has been a good week for sitting around listening to/checking out music

It's pretty good. The person who sent it to me said Dead's vocals weren't really that developed at the time, and it's quite apparent. Still really, really good though.

That Morbid demo is god. Dead's best vocal work is found that.

I agree. And I no longer accept the "they're gay", "they're not metal", or "not elite enough" responses as valid arguements either.

this desultory stuff is pretty heavy and loud/clean sounding. wasn't expecting that since it's from like '93

Opeth sucks, and they have yet to write anything that is even metal, let alone death metal.

theyre solid russian brutal death, i've heard 2 songs off of their demo and it kicks total ***. The lyrics and song titles, naturally, are retarded and uncreative but musically theyre pretty solid
