pelican is like yeah they're really good but they don't resonate or nothin i pretty much stop thinking about their music as soon as the album stops playing idk
yeah i kind of agree. i love city of echos (the song) though, possibly just because it reminds me of some good times but whatever
i have that album about thawing tongues or some shit and its kind of boring
was that a good place to start |
the fire in our throats will beckon the thaw?
yeah idk, i like it. all of their stuff is pretty similar, there really isnt a bad place to start. i love last day of winter. |
yeah that's it. i actually haven't listened to it in forever so i'm probably due for a relisten

adebisi shank always talks to me on twitter (-_-) i'm so cool
there is no good place to start unless you start with classical, blues, jazz, classic, psychedelic, canterbury rock, move up into prog, fusion, and pop developments of the same time, also ride the minimalistic scene, the electropop of the times, cross into punk, then post punk, then no and new - wave, then the indie scene where from the next legion of rock musicians emerge into various sub scenes and genres until we have a few neat words to describe them all. If you want to call everything "post" thats fine, however good music is always timeless and seems to come after many similar attempts.....therefore there's a post for the ages!

Cult of Luna track at the end of the Eviga Riket audiobook. enjoy :) |
Pan-Post Rock is not Dead, that is their first ep, but they play upbeat and happy post rock, and it is never boring. I love post rock and this is one of my new favorites. peterpan.bandcamp.com
