I like to listen to music really loudly, and to get the same kind of volume with speakers, you'd be able to hear it throughout the house.
I hate listening to music really loud, especially on headphones.

Concerts are obviously a different story.

Pazz 04-05-2006 04:27 PM

I always listen to my music out loud. My parents complain once in a while, and I turn it down. But, my mom spent like $200 on our speaker, I might as well use them.

Mute Print 04-05-2006 04:28 PM

I have 6" computer speakers. :p

Pazz 04-05-2006 04:29 PM

I have surround sound in my computer room. Except the speakers are just spread out all over my desk.
If she's not much of a music fan, don't make her listen to it. But oh well.
I'm not making her listen to anything. I explained you can't even hear it from downstairs, and can barely hear it from out in the halls. Learn to read please.
I do the same thing while I'm walking in the hallways at school, or at lunch, when it's loud and I want to drown everyone out. Hey, if people are giving you odd looks, though, turn your music the **** down. It's not right to bother people like that. If I'm in a quiet classroom, I'd never listen to music as loudly as I do otherwise.
I agree there though, I don't listen to music as loudly as I used to. Maybe 20/25 on volume, which is loud enough for me and can't be heard by other people.

Oh, and you listen to music in class?
Then get a pair of high quality headphones that go around the ear and don't touch it much. You'll look a little silly, but it'll be musical heaven, and also cover your ear from other noise, so it doesn't need to be as loud.
It's not that, it's the tip of my ear that was cut when I was hit by a van like 2 years ago. It hurts to put pressure on it, and I don't want to look like a twat. I paid good money for my earphones (Sony, about £30), and I love them. I'm just used to earphones.
He's talking about my Alizee avatar; the only big avatar that was best for everyone.
I've seen better bigger avatars

Dead Star 04-05-2006 04:32 PM

Kif got hit by a Van wtf?

This conversation came about as the result of you saying that your mom heard Thursday and Everytime I Die and TFOT. Which she couldn't have heard if...she couldn't hear your music like you say you can't. Learn to be consistant, please.
I agree there though, I don't listen to music as loudly as I used to. Maybe 20/25 on volume, which is loud enough for me and can't be heard by other people.
I listen from 23-25 on my creative when I want it loud. With equalizer set to 10,9, 0, and 12. ( I think).
Oh, and you listen to music in class?
When I'm allowed to. During busywork, generally. My World History teacher lets us listen to music during tests. She's the best ever.

Earphones hurt after like twenty minutes for me. I've worn headphones for six hours straight with no problems. Even overnight without issues.
I've seen better bigger avatars
Bigger? Yes. Better? Nay, sir.

BridgeToSolace 04-05-2006 05:01 PM

I remember thinking at some point in my MX history "Oh no! A van was struck by a fat kid crossing the street!"

I now know why.
Since Blink 182 broke up?
Wow, I'm behind. I did not know this.

DJ Ducksauce 04-05-2006 06:36 PM

Haha Ric, they broke up like a year or more ago.

Dead Star 04-05-2006 07:50 PM

But nobody's here to care.

Untitled 04-05-2006 07:52 PM

BridgeToSolace 04-05-2006 07:56 PM

So I have to figure out how to do an A9sus4, a B9sus2, and a G9sus4.

Dead Star 04-05-2006 07:58 PM

You know the drill.

Dead Star 04-05-2006 08:02 PM

Jon:

A9sus4 - x02030
G9sus4 - 320030

I can't find the other.

http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/ Maybe?

Or the guitar forum?

If that actually is an A9sus4, B9sus4 is just x24252

/too lazy to figure it out

you need the notes a c e b and d for the A9sus4 so...

Dead Star 04-05-2006 08:44 PM

I Googled it, and there were chord tabs with that in it. So I guess it is.
