I enjoyed both Dechristianize and Icons of Evil, I heard their earlier stuff is more blackened death metal, is it worth checking out?

it's much rawer, nowhere near as 'epic' or whatever

idk I like it, and if you like some old school death metal you'll probably enjoy it as long as you aren't expecting the same style. further back you go the filthier it gets.
