Five Killed In Columbus Nightclub Shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police have not identified any of the five people killed when a man went on a shooting rampage in a crowded Columbus nightclub Wednesday night.

Witnesses said one of those killed -- who appeared to be the primary target of the gunman -- was guitarist Dimebag Darrel Abbott. The guitarist and another member of the band Damageplan are formerly of the heavy metal band Pantera.

The dead included the gunman, who was shot to death by police.

A witness said the man began shooting during the show at the Alrosa Villa and opened fire on members of the heavy metal band just after they had begun playing.

The witness said the gunman initially sought out Abbott. Police said that after shooting the guitarist and other members of the band, the gunman fired into the crowd.

Columbus police spokesman Sgt. Brent Mull said a police officer shot and killed the gunman. It was not immediately clear whether the officer was already at the show or had responded to an emergency call.

I was listening to some sound samples on Fender.com...its quite odd, the 57 P and the 75 J sound quite growly, but the other P and the other J sound more punchy. Odd. I like the growl of the 57 P eventhough its too much...maybe...the 75 J sounds quite good but seems to be a little weaker.

by the way, anybody knows where I could find some more sound examples of different brands...I think its such a valuable resource but hard to find, and Fender only has four sound examples of four basses. arg.

I like the sound of the 62' J. It's sweet.

Thats exactly the one I hate most (about the sound examples of course).

I think oceans 11 is ok, is oceans 12 that bad? (It hasnt come to Spain yet)
