It's surprising how many Classic Rock regs joined in Aug 04.

I actually really look forward to school, mostly because I'll start working again, and I don't mind school at all. I am involved in a lot of cool stuff at school so I like being there. Clubs I'm involved in: Choir, yoga, vocal jazz, maybe signing up for jazz band, gonna go in photography club for the first time, plus me and my friends play hackey sack at lunch outside on the grass and everyone is welcome to play. School ain't bad.

I love school, cept for some boring-as[size=2]s lecture classes and a few sanctimonious professors[/size].

I'm joining photography for the first time this year too. Plus, guitar class. Plus, I think I get a spare block this year. Grade eleven is shaping up to be pretty sweet.

Alright....so you guys wanna know what I'm doing this weekend? Me and my friends signed up for volunteers for a festival in a hemp field. There are gonna be bands, a lot of reggae from what I've heard, some tribal fire dancing stuff, other such music. There's gonna be seminars on how to make basically anything with hemp (the festival is [I]in[/I] a hemp field). The coordinators for this festival is a store (I'm not sure if it's just a local store or not) but it's called Vintage Vinyl and Hemp Emporium, which sells basically anything. Very cool albums, clothes, bongs, anything you could want. So anyways since we are volunteers we get VIP passes and we get to party all weekend with these guys...they said we should bring our guitars, and if we have a really big tent we should bring it because they still want to have a community bong tent. I think it's gonna be fun.

School sucks *** enjoy your stay at home. It may be a little boring now but it's **** better than being in school. Waking and baking is slightly overrated.
Yesterday I was trying to open my PE locker and I didn't know my combo so I ask the teacher. He said "It's 39-03" I said "OK" then I turned around and forgot it again. "What is it again?" "****it Schyma! Give me 30 push ups." I did half of them and then asked again. He gave it to me again and then 3 seconds later I said "Ahh....What is it again" he looks at me right in the eyes and says "Son.....are you on drugs" Of course I just said no and did my combo. Scared the hell out of me because of course I was really stoned and I think he already had an idea of my activties I enjoy after school. Could have gotton caught which for me would have been VERY, [I]VERY[/I], [I][B]VERY[/B][/I] bad at the moment but thank "god" that didn't happen. :)

I'm just naming one bad thing that happened. School is boring as hell and smoking before school just makes you really tired and makes me want to go eat something but I won't eat anything at lunch because my only source of money is my lunch money. :-/

That's cool, we don't have a guitar class. I'm going into grade 12, I've got a fifth period spare so I get to leave school an hour early....although I'll probably just stick around and play hackey sack in the commons with friends. I had a first period spare last year, which would normally mean sleeping in, but I have yoga and vocal jazz in the mornings so I have to go to school even earlier. I just sleep at school during my spare, usually on the floor in the hall or on the couch in the Student Services room.

I'm also in peer support, but it was getting to be torture last year because our guidance councellor trys to make me talk to all the pot-heads about their "problems." And they usually point out the fact that I smoke more weed than they do...or that I sell them weed sometimes. So I'm kinda stuck in a jam there.

edit- and I actually really don't enjoy getting high before/during school...school really brings down your high. Although English class is fun when your stoned, we listened to A Midsummer Nights Dream on tape and it as trippy as hell. There are like elves and fairys and stuff and it was fun. I am good at English though, I came out of that class with 94%. English is my favourite class besides Choir.

Yeah, I'm just sick of seeing the same people and talking to people on the internet more than in real life. I just came back from a pot-luck with this program called [I]puentes[/I] (bridges) where I'm going ot teach English and learn more Spanish. It was actually alot of fun, enough to break up the monotony (Especially being pissed off today because my sister's friend dropped the ring I bought in Spain off of a dock into 20-30 feet of lake water. :angry: I couldn't get pissed off either because her friend started crying, because she felt so bad)

I really love to play hackey sack, its so much fun, and such a nice way to meet people, but all of the people that play it at my school are like "eew girl" which isn't helped by the fact that I'm not so good at it

...and that Hemp Festival sounds freaking awesome.
