I see, do you have London Calling too? I've been managing to buy the vanilla tapes, that new edition, seems good.
hello thread

Puma 09-17-2005 04:42 PM

I bought Jersey's Best Dancers today. Great thing about CD stores going out of business is, everything's so cheap.

ChodaBoy 09-17-2005 04:43 PM

I have just seen the most disgusting picture, ever.

But, I cannot post it due to banning reasons

Oh god...if my CD shop was going out of business...I'd probably drop $500 easy. :-\

They have an end of the year sale where I get $2 off anything under $12, and $3 off anything more. It's grand.

Fish 09-17-2005 04:52 PM

there is no CD stores near me except for like....wal-mart...they don't even have coheed and cambria though. The closest place is 1/2 hour away. :(

I'd spend and worry about how to pay later. Credit Card++ :(

Fish: My shop is an indie store :D

Puma 09-17-2005 05:00 PM

My parents know better than to give me a credit card, and I know if I went and got one on my own I'd be paying it off for the rest of my life.

My bank gave me one...or two, I forget now. Platinum though :D

It's ok, most Americans are in debt from the day they're 18.

Splinter Cell series :p

Super Mario Sunshine is also an excellent game, though. I really liked it. TimeSplitters 2 was also a superb game. I still play it, and it was one of the first GCN games to be released.

TS2 is one of the only FPS games I can stand. I will buy Future Perfect when it's below $40.

I rented Chaos Theory awhile go. I really liked it. I'll try the other ones.

G'd'evening, you guys.

Can someone make sure I don't stay up too late tonight? I think a nice long sleep would be pretty cool.

Don't call me an omnibus.

You know what I really hate at the moment? I can't stand listening to Fall Out Boy right now. I associate them so strongly with the lady I've been keen on recently (I mean, I copped off with her for the first time with 'Of All The Gin Joints In The World' playing in the background... not sure if I could handle listening to that at all right now), and I think if there's any chance left between me and her, it's keeping itself well hidden. Hence, I can't listen to FOB (normally one of my favourite bands) without thinking about how I messed it up with her.

Sigh.

Aw :(

I've never had a girlfriend, so there's no song or band that, when I hear it/them, I go, ":emo:".

Smile on, though :)

Well it's more the fact that she never was my lady friend, so I can't help thinking what could have been. We seemed/still seem so right for each other.

I'm not so down about it anymore though. At the end of the day, it's her loss, and if she wants to treat me like I mean nothing to her, I'm not gonna get too hung up over it.

I do wish I could have done the sex with her though.

Permanent Solution 09-17-2005 05:46 PM

My emo song is Boxcar Racer - There Is. Lyrics plus first time I heard it being after a bad breakup = :(

I do know how it feels to be treated like crap, though. A bit too well, heh.

fine african american gentlemens. large bundle of sticks

What if I'm trying to talk about fine african american gentlemens who live in the UK?

Hey...that's a good question. What is the PC way for brits adress black people?

If they called them african american, I'm going to kill myself.

billiejoe84 09-17-2005 06:27 PM
Hey...that's a good question. What do the brits call black people? Or canadians?
Blacks or coloured people. That's what I normally hear. Or darkies, if the speaker is being racist.

Canadians are just Canadians. I just use the word 'aboot' lots. Always winds them up. My last proper girlfriend was Canadian and that was a particularly good way of annoying her.

Heheh.

I meant "What is the PC way for canadians to talk about black people" :p

Why aren't I allowed to call fine african american gentlemens coloured. :(

Or colored, even.
