Yeah exactly. Goat Horns sounds a lot less like a Castlevania soundtrack.

Lunar Poetry is way above Goat Horns in songwriting quality, Goat Horns has better production and execution though.

I think the production on Goat Horns is really awkward. The guitars, vox and bass all have a necro sound but the symphonies and drums are really clear. It just causes too much clash...iness. It's still one of my favorite black metal albums though.

I dont see how it's "way above" it at all.

Well "way above" may not have been the right words but I think it's a better album as a whole.

It's not nearly as bad as Lunar Poetry. With that said, I like the album. More then Goat Horns even.

Although some of the keyboard lines are gay and sound sometimes out of place, none of it is as bad as some of the moments on Astrofaes Dying Emotions Domain. It IS one of the keyboardists from NM..Though those awkward lines don't appear that often though, fortunately.

i really dont like the sound on goat horns, i prefer lunar poetry by far. I think the song structure is much more interesting on LP.
