Average frequency? That doesn't make much sense. In concert tuning, if the instrument is in tune, low B is 30.87 Hz. There's no room for average, that IS the frequency.

If you want to get complex, it's the frequency of the fundamental. The harmonics - and every tone has harmonics except the simplest sine wave - go much higher.

Polyamarous 11-01-2006 02:04 PM

Well I assumed it may vary slightly but it seems I am wrong, thanks anyway.

BenJammin 11-01-2006 02:59 PM

So today, I will finally commence printing my album.

I bought some fricking paper, and I have ink, and labels.

Tomorrow, the profit reaping begins! (Or not, since I've gotta sell a dozen or so before I break even)

a dozen isn't really that many

you'd get by if all your myspace friends bought an album.

Ha, you seem to overestimate whether or not people actually want to pay money for my music. :p

I don't suppose you know how to set up some sort of electronic payment do you? I can't imagine people living overseas will want to mail me a cheque or money order.

Wintermute 11-01-2006 03:19 PM

Paypal's the easiest way.

Yeah, I figured that. I just don't have the bloodiest clue as to how to set those things up and/or how they work once they're set up.

Polyamarous 11-01-2006 03:46 PM

I miss Sade just a little bit.....

The website makes it fairly clear, there are step-by-step instructions and things. Very easy.

Absolutely. A lot of people seem to be convinced that "Goodbye Enemy..." is their best album, but I totally disagree. WHCHSH is just amazing.

mikethecoug 11-01-2006 04:03 PM

Hey guys not a usual casual poster may start now though ;)

Hows everyone today?

Akira 11-01-2006 04:04 PM

How much for your album Ben?

Left Shoe 11-01-2006 04:04 PM

It took a few listens for it to fully open itself, but yea - it's much more dense, and subtle. The recurring rain effects - the start of the album, with the decrescendo of a chord, the feeling that there may have been a track before the first track but there isn't. Just some of the things that stand out after 1,000 or so listens.

Ha, I've not noticed that before. I probably will now. It's easily one of my most listened-to instrumental albums.

Thonk 11-01-2006 04:18 PM

Full day monday. No school tuesday. Half-days wednesday and thursday.. and we're off friday.
