Oh I went to buy Saves The Day - Sound The Alarm today. I checked in HMV when I got town, and it was £7.99, which is surprisingly low (New albums are usually around £13). Which was cool. So I checked my balance on my card, and I had £1.88

:(

Permanent Solution 04-13-2006 01:21 PM

Aw, that's too bad.

I can get it for cheaper here and get a free shirt too...but I don't like STD much :-\
Kif: oic...posting it or just posting in the thread? :-\

Matt: shuddup I want a long weekend :-\
I think he just posted "omg" or something in the thread, but he didn't post the picture. Not to my knowledge...

At least he didn't get banned for posting a picture of Jessica Alba which was allegidly NSFW, but it was and the mods didn't care.

Matt: shuddup I want a long weekend :-\
I get 4 days. Brandon is going to have 5 and a half.

I did absolutely nothing in like any of my classes today. Music I had to do a midterm test, which I failed, because I slept in this morning and I was the last person to sign up on the list and everyone took the late spots. So I had to go third. In History we had to go to the cafeteria for a prayer service thing. There was a girl from another school talking to us about how she went to Domincan Republic with the school and lived with people over there for a week. They are going again next year, and I want to go. It's only $1600. English I asked to go to the bathroom and went outside where a bunch of my friends were eating lunch, so I sat out there for about 15 minutes. Religion we watched a movie that I slept through while listening to Sum 41.:)

Typical day I guess.

B 04-13-2006 01:24 PM
yeah i noticed, i've been reading up but i never get on till like midnight so there's no reason to post really.

why did you get banned?
What Kif said.

For three weeks too. Kind of dumb. I posted "lmfao".

So what's been up with you?

oic...silly canadians.

hahaha, i remember that...but at least that's not the reason you no longer have an account, right?

Matt: Die

B: oic. that's long heh. Not much, fabulous trip to Chicago, hellish week of school, you know.

Can't wait to be home.

Kif 04-13-2006 01:26 PM

Sounds like fun. My last day last week was bullcrap, but I explained that already ages ago.

Vince: Well duh, albums are cheaper in America anyway. I hate people who moan about album prices over there. If I lived in America, I'd most likely not be taxing as many albums as I do already.

Yeah. How's stuff with Gaby and such?

I think I've gotten myself into a serious relationship, but it hasn't exactly started yet. It's almost exactly what I was looking for though so I really hope it works. I'm turning my life around quite well actually.

chumpradio 04-13-2006 01:30 PM

Just listening to the new NOFX cd now.
The first track is starting very slow, I'm just waiting for the song to speed up abruptly like NOFX do quite frequently.

EDIT : And just as I expected, there was a nice little guitar riff, and the song speeds up. A bit too predictable if you ask me, but it's good ol' NOFX.

Kif 04-13-2006 01:32 PM

Hook me up now dammit!

Haha, I love how cheap music is here, comparatively. Vinyls are a little pricier I think and that's gonna be my new thing but it's still not too bad...

I'm very near the top of that list

Are you ever getting your account back?

B: They're better than I'm allowing myself to believe. I'm overthinking us and that's no good but she is fabulous as ever and I'm thrilled I got to spend a nice weekend with her.

Tell me about this non-relationship that's a serious relationship...

My friend recently visited America since his dad works there sometimes, and he spent about £500 on vinyls, CDs, clothes and a new bass. I wouldn't mind that...

I made a proper request for it in the Site forum, so I guess I'll have to wait a few months until the thread is closed for Jim to sort through them

That's good. I'm kind of doing the same thing actually, although mine is definately not as serious as yours it's good enough for a 16 year old :)

Well, basically we both really like each other, but she said she doesn't want to go out until she's completely comfortable around me because she wants it to be somehting more than just a casual relationship. So, I didn't take it well at first, and I kind of read some crap into it that was never really there. But I don't know, I can't help but believe her. Plus she's like everything I could ever want in a girl. So I'm willing to take my chances.

Yeah, there's a big diff with the age thing I'm sure but good, because Gaby is changing my life.

Hmmm, does she not realize you can move from casual to serious pretty easily? I mean it's not like I started seeing Gaby and from day 1 decided she would be this important to me... But I guess if she's worth the chances no reason not to hope.

Untitled 04-13-2006 01:51 PM

Bleh, i made a post but my PC needed to re-start so it didnt post, i cant be arsed typing it all...

Brief : i formated my pc, all things liek my internet, msn, photoshop are/where gone, but all my music is still on my pc, i dunno how, and my documents, im pretty confused.

I've been turning things around for a while, but things are starting to pick up now.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking, but if she feels that way I'm not one to argue. Especially since I really think/hope this will be something good. I don't want to think too much into it though, I'm just going with it for now.

Yeah. I actually just wrote emails to the 10 most influential people in my life and in my mom's response she said she's very thankful to Gaby for what she has done for me...so that says a lot heh.

Yeah, don't over think it and don't expect too much because that's just setting yourself up for hurt.

School thing? Or just a personal thing?

I don't have that many influencial people in my life to be honest. Even if I included bands.

I know. I'm trying ot keep myself occupied do I don't think about things too much. I tend to do that a lot.

Personal, definitely. If it was for school it would have been fake.

4 were my family, 1 was Gaby, and 5 were friends.

Mmhmm, such a curse.

Yeah I figured.

One would have to be my Mom. And then a few friends.. two or three. Not many of my friends have influenced me that much though.. And then like two bands. I honestly couldn't pick 10 people.

Well you're still young, I think you'll find a lot of people to influence you in the next few years still. I've also gone through many groups of friends and only a few were constants so those 3 got emails, and then 2 more recent friends whom I am very close to got them.

I meant 10 most influential people I know personally though. Obviously many bands and writers and others have been influences in my life too but they didn't get emails.

Gav: S&L isn't as tight as it used to be.

I find bass has too many people for my liking.

S&L is just a big no. There's too many noobs and that bothers me lmao.

HC/E is too elitist. Other than that I agree with you.

I'd probably fit in there :-\

Vince: I know what you meant, I just couldn't think of many people so I had to include bands haha.

TBH I don't get influenced very easily. And I don't make friends too easy either. I'm too critcal. Oh well.

bottlerocket 04-13-2006 02:19 PM

It's still pretty tight.

There's a lot of cliques, too...The Pit has like 2-3 cliques. The bass forum doesn't have "cliques" so much as they have groups of friends who stick together. They're not unwilling to accept new members, however; it's mainly time differences. :D

I'm on basically all hours of the day so I get time to bond with my bloody chaps 'cross the pond and my mates down under. :)

HC/E IS elitist, but if you know what you're talking about, the guys are really cool.
