Yeah, it's a great song.

Don't you like AC/DC?

Apocalyptic Raids 05-08-2006 04:53 AM

AC/DC > *

fucking caps filter.

Captain Quentin 05-08-2006 05:32 AM

Riva, im not too happy about your choice in avatar :p

Slapping Penguin 05-08-2006 05:53 AM
Don't you like AC/DC?
Yes, not very Australian of me. I don't not like them (poor english) just well, I don't really go for that Stadium rock sound much, not often does it wet my panties. :naughty: Alot of tunes of RW's Brotherhood, Rivalry, Vicotry have that sounda lot.

NP: Richard Wagner - Ride of the Valykries (Any man who would do his mrs to this would be an absoleute god in my book)

Stoic 05-08-2006 07:06 AM

I despise AC/DC's vocals (both vocalists) :-\

Lord Abortion 05-08-2006 09:16 AM

I can't stand AC/DC, the lyrics are beyond Atrocious.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-08-2006 09:22 AM

You both digust me

Anyone listen to Power Quest? In my opinion, them and Freedom Call are possibly the cheesiest power metal bands around. Which I love. :)

I've heard Power Quest were just a Dragonforce knockoff, but that's probably because one or two of their memberse are ex-Dragonheart guys. Recommend and album to me...GO.

Trev 05-08-2006 11:09 AM

Yeah a couple of members of Dragonheart are in Power Quest, but they're not really that similar. They only have 3 albums, I'd probably recommend Neverworld.

Alright, I'll check it out. I'm a big fan of cheese.

Aye, cheese is always good.

Is that Fabio I see in your avater?

MetalOz 05-10-2006 01:12 PM

Are Dungeon albums hard to get a hold of now? I tried to order A Rise to Power...
We wanted to let you know that there is a delay with some items in the order you placed on April 25 2006
Shattered_Future 05-10-2006 03:08 PM

I've seen copies of A Rise To Power in this cd store near me...I wouldn't think they'd be backed up.

Riva 05-10-2006 04:35 PM

There was only one copy left on Amazon, when I ordered Resurrection.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-11-2006 03:52 AM
Are Dungeon albums hard to get a hold of now? I tried to order A Rise to Power...
They shouldn't be too hard to find online. Resurrection and Rising Power (a compilation) are very easy to find instore here. I've never seen One Step Beyond or A Rise To Power in store though.

MetalOz 05-11-2006 08:28 AM

Yay!!! A Rise to Power just shipped!

I also have Dreamaker - Enclosed on the way as well... I'll let you know if it's good. I like the ones posted on their website (former vocalist from Dark Moor)

Lord Tim 05-11-2006 10:15 AM

You can get ARTP, OSB and Resurrection directly from LMP: http://www.limb-music.de

Rising Power is a little trickier though. Try http://www.hot-rockin.com to see if they have any more stock. As far as I know, that's completely out of print now.

And look out for The Final Chapter later on in the year. That's shaping up to be (ironically) the best Dungeon album ever. :)

dUSK 05-11-2006 10:17 AM

I've never seen Rising Power in stores.:( For a long time I didn't see OSB either, but now that it's become available, ARTP seems to have disappeared. It's odd.

Hey LT, while your here, would you happen to know of anywhere I could look to try and get my hands on an original pressing of Resurrection? I've been keeping an eye out for it on ebay etc, but haven't had any luck thus far.

Lord Abortion 05-11-2006 10:20 AM

Hey Tim, good to hear the new album is going well.

can't wait to hear it

Lord Tim 05-11-2006 11:04 AM

Good luck finding the original Resurrection anywhere. I know a few people who managed to score it on eBay though.

I gotta say, it's pretty dreadful - serious collectors item only!

dUSK 05-11-2006 11:19 AM
I gotta say, it's pretty dreadful - serious collectors item only!
That's why I want it so much. :p

Hearing the comparison between the two would be cool, I think, and getting to hear Let It Go is an added bonus. I'll keep the search up.

NP: Blind Guardian - Theatre Of Pain

Apocalyptic Raids 05-11-2006 08:11 PM

Yeah I would be interested in the original too.

Riva 05-11-2006 08:41 PM

Hey, Lord Tim, check your email regarding the merge of your accounts.

Tyler 05-11-2006 09:03 PM

I just gave Sabaton a second chance, and I'm glad I did.

While there's definitely better stuff out there, it's still great.

Slapping Penguin 05-12-2006 02:16 AM

Lord Tim will you be playing at Metal for the Brain in Cnabbera this year, oh please do.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-12-2006 02:20 AM

Hey, Dom. It's actually called "Canberra"

Just so you know :thumb:

Lord Tim 05-12-2006 02:49 AM

Well, no bands have been picked for MFTB yet, but I'd say we'll likely be there. :)
Hey, Lord Tim, check your email regarding the merge of your accounts.
Ooh! Neato! :thumb:

No sign of the e-mail though... I think my mail has some kind of attitude problem or something!

Slapping Penguin 05-12-2006 03:20 AM

Yes, I didn't go to last year, but appatently when you were Dungeon you put up a great show, show I just wanna see you play.
Hey, Dom. It's actually called "Canberra"

Hahaha, I didn't even notice how I spelt it.

JausmetalJ 05-12-2006 05:02 AM

Does MFTB come to Melb?

Apocalyptic Raids 05-12-2006 05:28 AM

I don't think so.

JausmetalJ 05-12-2006 05:30 AM

Apocalyptic Raids 05-12-2006 05:32 AM

way to trip me out with the smiley :(

JausmetalJ 05-12-2006 05:42 AM

Hahaha, im yooneek

Lord Abortion 05-12-2006 06:49 AM

I'm starting to get into Ressurection now... again, the live versions of the tracks have helped me get into them. Paradise, I am Death, Legend of a huma and the title track all have an added imputus live that allows me to appreciate the studio versions more.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-12-2006 07:25 AM

I agree.

Especially with the title track and I Am Death. The little extra bit of speed makes them heaps better.

dUSK 05-12-2006 07:39 AM

I've kind of gone off Paradise lately, in the same way that Maiden fans stop listening to Run To The Hills, I think. The Legend of Huma is so incredibly good though. \m/

I was going to see Dungeon at Brisbane MFTB last year, but they found out the day before that it was 18+. I was very pissed off.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-12-2006 08:44 AM

haha, I'm the same with Paradise. I used to listen to it non-stop.

shadow_stalker 05-12-2006 11:27 AM

Whenever i read a Dragonlance book i put on the the under the rising sun cd, so i can listen to 'legend of huma' and 'netherlife (black roses die)'

good god i am sad :p
