I havn't found that...
It's even more of a social event when drinking. You can add it to playing poker, playing video games, going to the bar with friends, playing games...
It's a social drink. Once you turn of age, more people drink for a pleasure, rather than to get waisted.
Sometimes the waisted part just comes with the social bit.
