Impossible, I vividly remember you buying "Fresh fruit..." and Hüsker Dü amongst others, can't have been weeks ago.

That was more or less at the beginning of my Easter holiday, I think. I ordered six more from Amazon a week or so later, and my memory tells me that was a couple of weeks ago.

I'm officially out of money now. I just bought my TMV and Warped tickets so I'm broke. I am selling books back in a week or so though so I'll be able to see TBB and DEP :D

Greetings and salutations. The inevitable weekend of Hell is upon me.

I decided that for my final project (plausible conversation between a Greek and a Roman), I'm going to have Seneca and Aristotle speak. The profs seemed to like the idea, so that puts pressure on me to follow through. I also have a lot of reading to do, unfortunately, for history, but that should be alright. Hopefully.

As a general note to Bartender, I just saw for the second time you use all caps in frustration in that one thread about music today.

It gave me a chuckle.

I just did the who should you vote for test for the upcoming election, and got extreme results.

clearvision 04-22-2005 02:06 PM

I got Lib dems, which was pretty much what i would have done if i had a vote. Obviously i would research more and stuff if i was gonna vote. Tis pretty good, cause lib dems are the only people trying to save the airport expansion, which would result in extreme noise pollution and maybe even demolition of my residence, so all is good with that site :)

Hi, another update on an american keyboard from my sister's boyfriend's college near Koblenz, DE. German girls in general are unattraqctive although there are a few. Probably because Germany is a mutt country like the US. I did see a group of Italians (or portugese, my sister didn't hear enough to be able to tell and her Italian is terrible)in a museum and there was one girl who was gorgeous.

2 nights ago my family went to a resturant with ourt hosts (a German family my parents are staying with, one of which is a coworker of my sister) to a super German resturatn. I had basically a leg of pork which was great but huge and my parents, for the first time ever, got me drunk. I am truly a lightweight. 2 beers (at .5 l each here in Germany as opposed to .35 l in the US) an 3 schnapps shots. I hate schnapps. They say it is supposed to be a fruit but tastes and smells like alcohol.

Also..... people in Germany, at least more than at home like metal! I had a long talk with one of my sisters students about power metal. I'm not really a fan but he really likes Blind Guradian and Rhapsody. It was cool. Also, I've kept my kraut consumption to a minimum but I really like weissbier (wheat beer). I'll look for it when I get home, except that I can't buy it at home. Oh well.

Only two beers? Man, you ARE a lightweight. But at least you'll save money in bars in four or five years. I hate schnopps too. Utterly pointless drink.

Girls in Germany aren't that attractive? I'm pretty surprised. I have to say from experience that girls in Iceland are attractive. Seriously, like three or four out of every five Icelandic women could be at least called "cute". It was amazing.

Glad that you seem to be enjoying yourself in Germany. Have you seen any American soldiers there?

I got Labour in the poll also! :thumb:

IAJP 04-22-2005 03:55 PM

If I could vote (Bearing in mind I'm 15) I would vote Liberal Democrats, the Labour party has lost it's novelty and run it's course. And The Lib Dems have some cool policies.

EDIT:
I was told to vote Green Party or Lib Democrats.
42 points for each :).

Correct.

Weather here [CA] is great most of the year, and we get great winters compared to the rest of the country [except this past winter, which was just a shitload of rain]. Summers are hot, but where isn't it hot in America during that time of year?

I went to New York during winter vacation last year at the end of December/beginning of January, needless to say it was colder than anything back home.

Summer weather sucks everywhere.

I am horribly confused by the following "comics:"

Toothpaste For Dinner

A friend told me to look through them in order to get an idea for when I reorganize my blog... and, uh, yeah. They don't make any sense.

I need to come up with a layout for mine, as well.

Heh, my blog looks pathetic. I suck at over-rides.

Ah, yes, I got your message the first time. Yeah, those videos are ridiculous. I always try to sound goofy and not make any sense. My tour of the room (Episode 1, I think) was just retarded. I always sound high-pitched on my digital camera, and I sound like I have some awful stomach virus if I purposely try to speak lower on camera.

Thanks by the way for reading the review(s).

I think my next video will instead be a thread with pictures of my uni. We have a muskrat that swims in the pond by the library, and it's extremely social in that it will walk up to you and let you pet it. It's bizarre... but it would give me an excuse to walk around and get outside while studying for finals.

I'm actually having trouble with Quicktime at the moment, maybe you (or anyone, I don't mind) can help me. I'm trying to listen to an internet radio station that uses a Quicktime plug-in, and basically I can't get it to work. I've downloaded and installed the latest version of Quicktime, and tried both simply clicking on the Listen link on the site, and copy-pasting the given address into the URL prompt in the Quicktime media player. Any ideads, anyone?

Nice avatar, by the way.
